The intent is that you can get an old Android Phone, install this app and get a pay as you go sim and use the old Android phone as a tracker. You could place the old Android phone, with Secure my Droid app, in your car and leave it hot wired to the battery. And viola, you can track your Car, Kids Bike or any other valuable equipment/person, and track live the movement/location of it.
