You may use all common editing tools like Exposure, Contrast, Lights, Shadows, Clarity, Vibrance or even Lens-Based adjustments. Photo Mate also comes with a Lens-Collection so you can auto-correct distortion, vignetting or chromatic aberration.
If you want to fine-tune your image, you may use Curves or Layer-Based adjustments like Gradient, Brush, Lasso or even Threshold-Based!

This is an absolute powerhouse of an app. Any problems mentioned in these reviews is 100% user error or being cheap. I have used this app for years and can't imagine working without it. With a calibrated field display I produce files for clients same day, often before leaving. It can do everything. I don't even bother to use my laptop anymore. If you want to be a photographer then get used to tools that aren't shiny and cute. Or stick with using an iPhone so you won't have to think so hard.

Great App BUT. I'm seriously impressed with the feature set in this app, I was not expecting it. However, there seems to be no option to select photos and perform batch operations when in the quickview mode. You can rate them, but when you enter slection mode it disables the rating overlay. This makes it very cumbersome for culling, which I hoped to use it for. Also it's quite prone to crashing. Great file support. This is a real pro tool. If the selection could be fixed I will happily buy it.

TL;DR It meets all of my criteria: one-time-fee, looks good on foldables, has a picker for white balance, has most used features, and doesn't require a login to use. It's not Lightroom. However, for a one-time-fee app, it's easier on the wallet than more pricey subscription-based apps that are missing common features like a white balance picker. Since I have the Z Fold3, a lot of apps have weird grayed out sides, like Instagram, but this takes up the entire screen and makes editing a lot easier

I really want to give this a 5* but I just can't. The develop for DNG files creates artifacting. With the same tweaks in LR, I get significantly better results. Edit: So I edited a jpg and the raw file, cranked the same adjustments (lifted shadows, dropped highlights) I got the same results with both. Apparently this doesn't work with DNGs captured with smartphones. Shame :(

It's pretty solid as of now. 2 things that bugs me though are 1) if we go back inside settings, it will completely take you out of settings menu to the root photo selection tab 2) the lens distortion settings aren't applied automatically and needs to be selected. It would have been fine if it was just a ✔️ but lens is also not chosen automatically. So, each time you have to select the lens and then enable distortion correction.

An update! It's alive!! I hope that further development comes along as we are in desperate need for an alternative to Lightroom on mobile. I still remember when I saw Juan Bagnell use this app on YouTube and came across it. Happy to see a heartbeat and hoping for the best! This far new update appears much more stable than last time! Will likely pick up the paid version very soon at this rate! 😊 Edit: Purchased now! Few critical bugs remain but I'll submit reports and hope for the best!!

I like the tools and I like webp support. I would really like a bit depth toggle for webp files. Saving at least 10 bits mostly eliminates color banding.

It keeps kicking me out of the editor after only a couple of seconds, saying that I must be connected to the Internet to edit in the free version... BUT I AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. Fix whatever broken method you use to check if the user is online or not. I'd rather there not even be a free version than one that taunts you with a mountain of features and then takes them away before you can use them.
