***Note: Starting Android 6.0, Android removed programmatic access to the device’s local hardware identifier for apps using the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This update broke the app’s ability to pair with the remote. Our latest update addresses this problem. The One For All Setup app is used to set up devices on the One For All Smart Control (URC 7980). The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (also known as Bluetooth Smart) to communicate with the remote control, giving access to the full online database of over 7,000 brands and 335,000 individual models of Audio/Video devices. Devices can be set up by model search, function search or directly selecting the code. With the latest integration, use Virtual Agent to guide you through setting up your remote with helpful tips. The app also gives you access to the Remote Finder functionality, allowing you to locate your remote by simply pressing a button and listening for the beep.
Features:
• Search by brand, model, function or code
• Automatic setup on the One For All Smart Control
• Ensures compatibility with your Home Entertainment devices, now and in the future
• Use Virtual Agent to help you set up your remote

Salesman said the app makes pairing simple. I didn't see instructions for the app right away-My fault. No luck with with the printed directions. Installed the app. It took 5 or 6 tries with app. Could pick my model TV from the list. App would time-out early or proceed w/o hitting "Go." Finally ended up that I had to type manually the whole 14 alphanumeric manually (even though it was on the list) before the remote would pair with my Samsung TV. Believe the app needs work to be more user friendly

The process of pairing was very frustrating, requiring me to factory reset 3 times. I finally got the application to push my TCL Roku TV configuration after several hours of failure. Here are some points for new owners. 1: Make sure you permit location access. 2: Restart your phone after installation and before pairing. 3: Expect the app to show disconnected all the time. After pairing simply add a device and you'll see the device led flash while it is talking. If it fails, restart the phone.

Very basic. The UI is very simple but not user friendly. It only allows you to edit the main devices of the remote and not the macros and activities. It would be nice to be able to completely setup the remote and save a backup of everything in the app. It would also be nice to be able to switch between different profiles on the remote through the app. Overall this is unique but really needs a good polish.

Will not pair. I set my Samsung Galaxy 10, the remote pointed at the television, pressed the, magic and activity buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds until the White TV light startes flashing as advised prior to that. All I got after doing all of that and waiting for the circle for pairing to stop spinning (which it never did)was. ..nothing. I've had it with wasting several hours of my life messing with thus to get my new $40.00 remote to even pair with anything. Much less actually function.

Keeps disconnecting from remote and resets any entered device info Everytime it reconnects to the remote. The remote has issues w/buttons not executing function correctly within certain apps. "Back" button (NOT directional arrow. Button literally says "Back") in Roku (My model not listed. Used similar model # listed), does nothing. No button went back like Roku remote. Only "Home" would go all the way back to Roku Main Menu. Also, volume doesn't work unless switched to "TV" input.

I'm having a little trouble deleting a device so that it no longer highlights when scrolling through the device selection. BUT it is a bada$$ VERY universal remote. I have the TV, BLUE RAY, SURROUND SOUND RECEIVER, A LED BAR & MY TOWER FAN programmed to it. ALSO it has the ability to make it beep loudly when my kids loose it (constantly) through the APP. Honestly, for around $30 I really doubt you could find a better one. Just need to stop the extra key from lighting up...

What's the point in having a remote finding feature if the remote won't stay paired to the app? Everytime the app closes or I don't use leave the app for a period of time the phone isn't paired and I can't utilize the find remote feature. When you have kids that misplace things and get a remote specifically for that feature it's a huge disappointment. Waste of $30.

App is hot Garbage. 24 yr IT pro that works with MDM and this hot garbage will not work on multiple devices. Uodate.. power cycle 2 different phones to no avail. App is slow, I can get it to pair but that is about it. Most likely sending remotes back
