This is a simple application that you will find useful at night. If you need some soft light during the night, for instance if you don't want to turn the room lights on but still be able to see around, the this is the app for you. This Pro version includes additional features that are not available in the free Night Light and Google ads have been removed from the bottom of the initial menu.
You can select whether you want the screen in full black or full white with maximum brightness just by tapping the screen or shaking the phone a little bit, this shaking feature is really handy if you are sleepy and you can't find your phone in the middle of the night.
Additionally, tap and hold to progressively move from full dark screen to full brightness. and vice versa.
It is very important to keep your phone plugged to the power adapter while the app runs, the phone is always responsive and the screen and processor are ready for your input so if you don't plug your phone you would run out of battery in the middle of the night.
I hope you like this simple app and you find it useful. It is just launched so please rate it in the market and leave me your (hopefully constructive) comments and ideas for it.
Thanks!

I've been using this app nightly for forever and a day now and I doubt there will be a time in the near.... Or distant future... That I don't use this app nightly!

Waste of money.

Specifying the timer to exactly what you want would be good tho, and longer than 2 hours! Otherwise it's great. Buy the pro version if you like the app, show the dev some luv.

I use this app every night. No light blindness, no stubbed toes. The clock is easy to read, even without my glasses/contacts, and I can set color/brightness so the room stays dark.

So...I was asked to try this app again after my comment from last May was FINALLY seen a couple weeks ago. Gotta tell you. It still is the pits (would really like to use a stronger word but will be nice) and I'd like a refund! It might be working, haven't tried it for a long period of time yet, but it won't allow my flashlight to work properly now and THAT I can't do without! So it's going bye bye again and WILL NOT be reinstalled.

I have the paid app installed on a Note 2. The app works quite well apart for the timer function. After you use the light and the timer times out, it then goes back to the settings page. It would be great if it would turn the light off and wait to be used again.
