last update broke it. can no longer simultaneously input characters and view captcha. have to open and close keyboard to see what the captcha is.

Great app, instructions say to have phone on mattress, which I don't do, but is still pretty close to accurate. My partner kept messing up mine, but we found the partner pairing settings and that's been amazing. The different captchas are varied in how well they work, but I'd suggest playing round til you find a good one that works for you. Ads are long and annoying after wake up.

I have used the original for some time. The multi captcha thing... It keeps getting in loops? Maybe it's that the "Let there be light" thing took so long to get through that a timer restarted. It's unclear what the time next to the mute icon in the upper right is supposed to do, as it doesn't mute the music (something my sleeping partner wishes it did). Anyway, after it started having me go through my 3 chosen tasks for the 4th time I just shut down my phone.

The ideas are there, for sure. But the UI? So strange! Every other alarm clock app works normally: You toggle different "captchas" on/off, and can preview and adjust settings for each. But here? You have to select multicaptcha as your captcha, then navigate to a new [unintuitive] screen to choose the other captchas, that you can't preview or adjust settings on. So, you either go back to the beginning and try each one manually, or you keep selecting & deselecting and previewing. Just plain weird.

The Shaker is hard if a power cord is plugged in, so you might want to consider an easier setting for this one or choose a different captcha ... especially if you are concerned about weakening the connector on your phone. Otherwise, these are great wake-me-up activities, especially effective are the math ones and the mirror text. Definitely a different set from what I had with I Can't Wake Up. Since they "Upgraded" (ruined) it I can't rely on it, so here I am ... With Sleep Tracking now, YAY!!

Adds some much needed support to the base app, but I do have a suggestion to make for the spinning captcha that would help stop most cheating. Add the settings menu for it and have a option that it must be completed in all going in the some direction. So if you put your thumbs on the screen and start turning clockwise, and then stop and turn around and start turning counterclockwise it will stop and reset the counter. You could also have a option to reset the counter if the buttons are released.

So far I've tried a few of them, because I'm a notoriously very hard to wake up. The zombie walk sounded great because it forces you up.. but I ran into the issue where it wouldn't go from 1m to opening my screen back up. And I did everything the app could to not allow me to exit out without completing the task.. so for probably 10 or more minutes I was panicking my phone would be useless and screaming all day, no way to stop it. Finally worked but I've had a couple clunky issues with them.

Useful add-ons, I just wish you could string multiple tasks of your choice together, for example, zombie walk, flags, and math, and allow for multiple sets of math or other problem-solving tasks. It does have a multi-catchpa, but it is only 2 pre-selected tasks. I also would like a difficulty mode for some tasks, ex. harder math, or more sheep etc.
