Note: The accessibility service is used to display the power menu at a predetermined time and then to simulate a tap on the Restart button, or on the Power Off button, if the user chooses so.

No private data is collected.

Note: If you want your phone to turn off at a certain time instead of restarting, you can set a tap target on the "Power off" button.

Note: In order for the app to work as requested, maybe on some phone models screen lock needs to be disabled (for example, before going to sleep user should disable screen lock if the app was set to reboot the phone during the night)

Also, if your phone has a two-step restart and the restart doesn't work when the pause between clicks is set to the default two seconds, try setting the pause between clicks to one second.

What's New

Added notification several hours before the restart. The user can choose to display the notification 1-12 hours before the restart. Useful if the user wants to disable the lock screen before the auto-restart.

It's a great little independent app that does one thing and does it well, with no data mining or other BS. I removed a star because the UI needs some work, for example the color scheme is not very good. I struggled to get the timer function to work until it dawned on me that I hadn't selected the days of the week. But it's not clear when a day is active or not. Light gray/dark gray, but no explanation of what is what. The set-up instructions are thorough but confusing. But it works!

This App does not work. I have a Samsung S20 and followed the instructions to the letter. The two step reboot process gets to the second screen where the restart button is supposed to activate and it just returns to the application menu. Then every minute or two it pops up with the power down screen and does nothing. It continues doing this until you manually restart your phone. At least it was only a waste of a dollar. Save yourself the headache and avoid this App.

App only sometimes works like one in 30 tries. It brings up the restart screen but the timing is off or something as the restart screen goes away before the app does the tap. This is evident as it will then select items on the app that are at the target spot. It does work on another phone but not the one I need it to. AT&T Calypso. Restart buttons are at the top of the screen.

it does what is says on the tin, with some caveats. for example, the phone has to stay unlocked in order to work, and i would love if the app sends a notification a few minutes prior to restart, so we could cancel it in case we're in the middle of something and do not want the phone to restart.

It took some work, but after working with the settings in the free version, I got the test to work, and decided to upgrade to the full version. I'm not a fan of rooting devices so this is the only way to auto reboot since this version of Android on my phone lacks the auto restart my previous phone had.

Works fine on my older Android 7.1 phone after fooling around with some of the many settings on any Android phone that can affect an app such as this, including making sure that you have internet access via data or wireless. A very handy app. Thanks!

I bought this for my Google Pixel 8 Pro as it does not have an auto restart feature. It worked great. I upgraded to the Galaxy S24+ and now it doesn't work. I have given it a few months to see if they would update it and nothing.

Doesn't work for me on Samsung S20. I've emailed the developer now with screen shots of what I see on my device and what happens but I can't make it do the single thing I bought it for , hence the one star. Quite surprised by the Dev's initial response to a disappointed paid customer!
