This is the BEST app with which to experience Nostr! By far the most feature rich and high performance Nostr client out there. It supports the most different event types, and has the ability to edit or even delete your posts. Frequent updates with bug fixes and new features means the app keeps getting better. Try a new and better social media experience with Amethyst on Nostr. Wi-Fi or unlimited mobile data is recommended with this app.

The app is fantastic. I would have given 5 stars, but there is a annoying bug. In the background, the app keeps playing a video, silently without sound, nonstop draining the battery. The video is from the video feed or from a note I have seen recently. I can see it pinned in the phone's player, on loop. Even when I end task, and start the app again, it immediately starts playing the same video.

Fastest, most features I.e marketplace, live streaming, media uploading ect. Though you can't start a live stream from Amethyst right now but the fact you can view them is a good start. Can't figure out how to add pictures to gallery yet

Great app. The only thing I would change is add the ability to 'star' your favorite users (who never seem to be online when you are) so that you could quickly get to their profile to see their latest notes, kind of like a browser bookmark folder.

apparently this is social media but I have no idea how it works. I can't follow anybody. I click a subject and it says "job requested waiting for reply" and nothing happens. I'm in a chat with random people that are talking about nothing. What the hell is this?

BEST NOSTR CLIENT ON ANDROID. Most the negative reviews were clearly made by people who can't figure stuff out for themselves. You'll find most the info about this client on github, your feed is entirely controlled by you. (too much bitcoin and p*rn on your feed? That's all on you) It's not confusing, JUST READ THE F'N DOCUMENTATION. my user experience has been amazing, its clear this client is developed by a competent dev team. Orbot connection is a huge plus as well.

The whole protocol is still in the works but this is a very user friendly client with little technical difficulty. 10/10 get off mainstream platforms.

Tried another client first and was a bit disappointed, this one worked as expected so far. Still learning all the options, but it looks promising. Keep it up.
