The content is very good but the app has a serious flaw because of which all those five star reviews astonish me. You can't edit your stories or responses In this app; if you try to do so you get the "Draft failed to load" error. This happens on both my old and new phones, which run Android v9 and v14 respectively. When you roll out an app whose content depends on user participation, you should make sure it is fully functional.

The articles are extremely informative, as is the sequence of sections. Code examples always compile, or interpret. The overall content should serve as a continual reference for those in active education. At the same time, the writing style is never turgid, or gummy. Run on sentences, fragmented aspects of a topic, etc.al., would only stifle the learning. process. When I make my first contribution, I will adhere to the standards at Medium.

Update it's 2024 and you still can't edit - and the editing tools do not pop-up when writing/editing in app. I don't publish because of all the negative changes. I only keep the app to read stories. Basically this is another platform which has undergone shitification. Who the heck uses a laptop anymore? They're pretty much going the way of landlines!

Most of my complaints have been addressed. This does have one odd quirk: if a story has embedded video links the app will auto-scroll to put the image on the screen. Very distracting, as usually what I was reading get scrolled off the screen and I have to scroll back down several times, fighting with the app that keeps insisting on putting the video on.

Medium has been a life saving app for me!!! It quickly became my favorite app, and such a wonderful app to meet like minded people, learn tolerance and gain understanding of different minded people. It is a wonderful outlet of expression for me, and I love to share content I've written as well as read it's enormous amount of creative content!! Definitely recommended for anyone who loves writing, poetry, short stories, and reading in general!! Medium has a topic to explore for everyone!!

So far, there have been several times when I intended to delete Instagram, but I always found myself in situations where I had to just spend time or wait, and I said, what's better than Instagram, but since i start using medium and reading those amazing article, im feeling really good about myself and im really productive more than ever... medium, it's really best app i have on my life.

I only just started using this app and I must say I love it! It is unlike any other app that I have seen. I paid for a subscription shortly after using it and it is definitely worth it. Amazing, unique content in a plethora of topics. Also, I love the audio feature that makes it possible to listen to content during times where reading isn't ideal (in the car, cleaning, in the shower, etc.).

Inundated with premium articles, to the point where its hard to find anything else. Even accidentally tapping on an article takes away from your three free articles, or just trying to read the subheader just to find out you're not interested. Not to mention, the recommendations are poorly chosen, and I constantly find myself drowining in articles all by the same single person, just because I read one of their pieces once.
