the app is so bugged I can't even report a bug to the developer, it just keeps shoving the message "last action did not execute please try again later". Managed to get my appliance connected to the wifi, but because the app is so dysfunctional its all kind of worthless and if you want more help with the app you have to call customer support for another wild goose chase 😒

The notification for when the dryer is done doesn't work. It doesn't pop up a notification like you'd expect. You have to open the app and look to see if the dryer is done. And, the app will log you out of your account and then go through trying to remember your login fo it. And, when you create the account for it there's an option to keep your email address from being sold, but it doesn't work. Now I have a new round of junk email to deal with. The app devs should be embarrassed.

Terrible app. Needs far more permissions that necessary and it doesn't actually assist in setting up your appliance unless you are brain dead. I'm pretty sure I can figure out how to tap a setup manually button since that's all it tells me to do when adding a device to my network. Which still fails. Don't buy a Whirlpool device if you want it on your network, but also don't expect it to keep time even close to accurately.

what is the point of having remote features if every time you use the washer or dryer, the remote features need to be reenabled on the device itself? A huge failure on whirlpools part. For that reason alone, I will never by another Whirlpool.

I love my new whirlpool set, and the app is great. I gave it a 4 because the manual is sorely lacking info for the washer. The dryer's manual is great and very helpful, but not the washer. If you want to call, what comes with the washer a manual.

The washer and dryer are constantly disconnecting the remote so it's basically not usable most of the time. I have to turn the remote on on the appliance about every other time. waste of money. just go for a normal washer and dryer. the app is garbage.

This app could be a 5 star app if it would alert you not only when cycles completed, but also when they failed. For instance—your washing machine cycle failed because you need to redistribute the contents. Please add this, it would make a world of difference.

Better than Samsung's but a beast to get it's WIFI to connect. Aim your device right at its top panel and move in close. Screens are well designed. BOTH companies need the app to TURN THE APPLIANCE ON! Isn't that what REMOTE CONTROL MEANS?
