Metal Detector Body Scanner is an application which detects the presence of ferromagnetic materials nearby by measuring the magnetic field value. This useful tool uses the magnetic sensor built-in your mobile device and shows magnetic field level in μT (microtesla). The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49 μT (microtesla) or 490 mG (milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. If any metal is near, the value of magnetic field will increase and the app will beep to warn the user.

How to Use Metal Detector Body Scanner:
Just launch the application on your device and move around. You will see that the magnetic field level shown on screen is constantly fluctuating. You can also use this app as to detect hidden camera. Hidden camera can also be detected by this metal detector and body scanner.

The Metal Detector Body Scanner and gold detector app makes use of your device's magnetometer sensor. The readings may not be fully accurate. The results may vary due to sensor quality, in that case user intervention is required! The metal detector beeps if it finds an electronic device or a ferromagnetic material/object. NOTE: If the reading is stuck at a very high level without anything nearby, please shake your phone by making a figure 8 pattern to re-calibrate the sensor. The X,Y,Z readings are the magnetic fields in relativity yo your device's current position.
Note:
Metal detector can also detect gold, but cannot detect silver and coins made by copper. They are classified as non-ferrous that has no magnetic field. But maybe you will find metal box with some treasure inside :)

Important:
Not every model of smartphone has a magnetic field sensor. If your device does not have one, the application will not work. Sorry for this inconvenience.
