Without a way to disable the app from searching for new downloads, the app will render itself useless. I have to force the app to stop and reopen it. There's no set time when the app chooses to perform this action, so I can be mid podcast that I have downloaded to my device, and suddenly the app just stops working because it's gone into search mode. Disappointing to say the least.

I do love the shows provided, however I've thought about deleting the app more than once. I pay for Wondery + yet commercials still sneak in. Also the app tends to lose my spot and doesn't accurately represent what has and has not been listened to. Because of this I have e to scroll almost endlessly to try and find where I left off. I've given up on multiple podcasts because of the app, not the show. Sorting should be easier and ACCURATE.

Awful app. Set it for continuous play, and it will often stop between episodes, even when content is downloaded to device. No way to get it to play ONLY downloaded content without an episode you purposely skipped suddenly inserting itself. Clunky, frustrating, infuriating. I dropped my Wondery subscription because it's just not worth the aggravation.

this needs to work with Android auto I am not able to listen to it in my car and it is very frustrating. I am thinking of canceling after my free trial if I'm not able to get it to work in my car. The app keeps crashing on me periodically, and now I can't even get into it to cancel my membership. I ended up not canceling my membership because I really enjoyed listening to several of the podcasts but I'm still having problems with it not loading on my phone all my other podcast apps work this is

I love a lot of the Wondery podcasts and even paid for a year subscription but the app is terrible. The app at least on Android frequently crashes. I live in a place with limited internet and no cell phone data at times in rural Alaska and when I try to download episodes and listen offline the app won't even open offline. 🙃 When I have wifi it crashes multiple times listening to one episode I won't be renewing my subscription my free podcast app works way better.

I have issues all the time with this app, I pay the monthly fee, but half of the time the app doesn't want to open, or the loading of the only show I listen to on there takes forever, I stopped listening for several months because of these issues, I thought it was finally fixed, but it's still just not doing anything when it's opened. I've restarted my phone and force stopped the app, nothing works to make it start working

I love my podcast dearly, but I really hate this app. It's so glitchy and finicky. And I wish I could just scroll through the episode list and not have to hit "load more" every 10-15 episodes. It's just overall not a very user-friendly app. It sucks, but I'll go back to being 2 weeks behind on releases on Spotify because it at least works consistently.

This is NOT a podcast app! None of the podcasts I listen seem to be accessible on here. That shouldn't even be possible, on an actual podcast player. I guess this only plays "Wondery" podcasts? What a strange and terrible choice that was. Why would I ever use, or even pay for, an podcast app that doesn't play podcasts... The whole idea with podcasts is that they are publicly accessible and a podcast app just gives you an interface and place to congregate all of the podcasts you listen to.
