I needed to reduce the space used by photos on my phone. I used the free Resize Me's photo batch convert on my Camera folder: Selected All, choosing the largest size of 1600x1200 pixels (to resize from the camera's 4608x3456). Just a few clicks, and a half hour later it had put the thousand smaller versions in a new folder, XnResize, which was only a quarter as big, then I copied the original large photos to my laptop and then deleted them from the Camera folder on the phone. Easy.

Used to be my one and only go to app for resizing my pictures. I recently made the mistake of letting it update now it doesn't work right anymore and I even have the paid version. Sometimes it'll only do two or three of the pictures out of 15 or so I choose to resize. Other times it won't even resize any of them

What apps should be but rarely are. Clean, clear and compact. What programs had to be in the last century, and still a virtue because they're faster and less prone to embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. The biggest user plus is the ability to simply process batches, which you would think would be a basic but which you don't necessarily find elsewhere.

In a recent update, photos appear to take on a yellow hue to them. Looking at two photos side by side, the resized image is noticeably different and worse. It would be nice to be able to do custom ratios or have a 16:10 ratio standard as more displays have that ratio.

First App I load on any cell! Gives easy quick resize, so you can Txt your beautiful photos, without your isp / cell phn provider shrinking it to a horrible blurry size. It is amazing how much they destroy any photo over 1.1MB Try a quick test; send a photo to a friend, and ask them to then send it back to you. Then compare it to the photo you originally sent. After you see the result, install Resize Me. Resize your photo to any size under 1.1 MB It will look beautiful, and send unaltered.

This is a great app. However may I suggest a few improvements that would make it even better. Would it be possible for the images within a gallery to be ordered by disk size? It would then bring to the front the images most in need of resizing. Also, would it be possible to set a minimum disk size for batch convert? i.e. do not resize an image if it's disk size is less than 250kB, 500kB, 1MB etc.

I just needed an app to resize my eBook cover to meet Kindle Direct Publishing's specs. After fiddling around with other apps for about 30 minutes, I tried Resize Me and BOOM! I'm done! Highly recommended for those a struggling to get their covers to KDP's 1000x625 pixel minimum.

Overall I like the layout and batch resize easy to use. However the resized photos seem to lose GPS/location data despite ticking the box in settings. If this is fixed would give 5 stars
