I edit my review from 5 star to 1 because since the last update the radio has become almost unusable. Way too many ads, literally the app stops at every 2 or 3 screen touches, and it also stops while listening to radio, so you have to open the screen and turn the ad off. I really like the app and I understand the need of ads, but there are just too many. Please reduce them.

I appreciate the ability to listen to streaming services around the world. As well as the ability to favorite them and play later. I would give a higher rating, but lately, the number of ads has really been a turn-off. It seems ads interrupt frequently, and the ads with video content are especially annoying. I understand why ads are desired and would be fine with small banner ads. I can not justify the current cost for the ad free version.

One of the best app works very well with android auto and allow us to curate the stations. But the recent updates makes the experience worst with plenty of advt for every click even when changing stations. I can understand the importance of encouraging subscription for sustainable app development and maintenance but the expected cost $16/week is too much and I have not seen such cost in any other apps. I don't mind paying few $ per month but not this much. Hope the developer can review. Thanks.

I never should have upgraded. this was such a wonderful app. Fast, u bloated, unobnoxuous and to the point. What was I thinking? full page ads that take my phone hostage? continuous ad banners? Ads on how to stop ads? And to top it all off none of my stations or channels will play anymore. Does this app actually play music anymore? or just show ads? What a great way to drive your users away

Since the latest update this app has become unusable and I'll be deleting it. It used to be fantastic, everything worked, easy to use and free. Now, there are constant full page ads popping up and it's difficult to even get to the app itself. When you eventually do, radio stations that used to work fine just get stuck on "Buffering...". The cost in the UK to remove the ads is about 5 times what you'd pay for something like Spotify. Such a shame a great app has been ruined.

June 2024 update: what used to be the only ad-free app is now riddled with annoying ads. sad to see the developer caved in. stations stopped playing. WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN. overall minimalistic yet great app, with essential features. i appreciate the Android auto integration. the EQ is very effective as well. just got the latest update: it woukd be great if you could fix the "no media selected" issue with casting. keep up the good work! update: just sent logs under issue #17. TY

Discovered this app while searching apps on my Google TV to play my local community radio (PBS 106.7FM represent), and it's perfect. Simple, heaps of interesting other stations all around the world, and Google TV slideshow works with it as well. Sometimes when it starts playing, it plays the leftover music in the buffer from earlier, which can be pretty annoying. Also sometimes doesn't play at all so I restart the app. Also, can audio streaming quality be increased?

App relies on an Open Source Internet radio database, and the app used to be free, but the developers recently added ads and have made the app unusable. Forced to watch an ad after every click, can't close them, can't skip them, and most of the time, when the ad finishes, all you can do is close the entire app. Oh, and check their response - yea, the ads go away - IF YOU PAY $14/week! Go get the old version from the original developer, google old version open radio. It still works fine.
