Mobile Key 3 from 2N empowers you with the ability use your mobile phone as your access credential and the key to your doors. Our latest version introduces patented WaveKey technology to bring you unprecedented reliability, opening speed and solution security.WaveKey technology allows door opening to feel instant upon reader touch. Furthermore, it prevents unwanted door opening by static phones and attempts to ensure phones moving away from the reader won’t authenticate.
Bluetooth credential security is guaranteed by government grade AES encryption over our proprietary channel. Benefit from the option of NFC door unlocking too, if your phone and 2N reader supports it.
Used in combination with an appropriate 2N® IP Intercoms or Access Units, Mobile Key offers a convenient, secure and reliable keyless access solution.
Operation modes include:
‘Touch mode’, which lets you open the door without removing your phone from your pocket or bag, simply by touching the reader. Enjoy a seamless and convenient access experience even if your hands are full.
‘Tap mode’, which allows you to trigger door opening form a greater distance by tapping the button in the app. Perfect for car park or garage access.
‘Card mode’, allowing you to authenticate by presenting your phone against the reader without need to unlock the screen Disabled by default. Requires ‘Tap mode’ enabling by reader admin and enabling in app.
‘Motion mode’, allowing authentication to be triggered via motion detected in the intercom’s camera. Requires configuration by reader admin and enhanced video license in reader.
Other features include:
• Unlimited free credentials
• Vibration feedback
• AES encryption
• Time limited access
• Home screen widget

Recent update now requires "full time" access to location services rather than just accessing when you have the app open. I reached out to support and they say it's to improve reliability. The app will not function now if it does not have full time access to your location which is pretty disgusting.

19/03 UPDATE: After the recent update, this is now unusable. Does not discover devices. OLD: Works perfectly fine on Samsung Galaxy S8. Would love if there was widgets so I could put them on my home screen. Would make it a lot more convenient.

03/19 update erased saved settings, now I can't find the device using bluetooth. I was able to get NFC working again but cannot get the bluetooth to pair if it can't find the device. Pixel 3 - Android 9 - March 3 Security Patch 03/21 Update - After updating the firmware on our access modules we were able to find the Bluetooth device again, now to re-add everyones phone to the module. Please update your changelog with this bug.

Unable to pair with receiver. I can see the device under normal Bluetooth pairing so I know it is active and there is an issue with the app. Fix your app.

Had some problems with last version. The latest version works great on my Moto G6. Touch mode is quicker too - I'd say a couple of seconds average.

Works as intended. A bit confusing at first if running both NFC and BT. looks and works more intuitivwly in NFC only mode
