OctoApp is build with Android in mind and is completely optimized for being used on your phone. Of course OctoApp also supports Wear OS!The UI is structured into three workspaces: Connect, Prepare, Print. The Connect workspace helps you get your printer connected to OctoPrint and as soon as a printer is available OctoApp will move to the Prepare workspace. Here you can get ready for your next print! Heat your hotend, swap filament or level the bed. When you are ready and start your print, OctoApp shows the Print workspace where you can control and tune your print!

OctoApp is an essential piece to your FDM Printing toolkit. Easy to setup, easy to use, full printer control and able to cover a wide range of printing setups and configurations. Integration with octoeverywhere for remote access is seamless. My favorite part is the quick stats in the camera view. Seeing speed and flow rate and time without having to leave the view is AMAZING!! OctoApp is a must have for any 3D Printing enthusiast.

Greatly simplifies 3d printing. I can control virtually everything from my phone/tablet. Progress monitoring and Webcam usage are well done. There was an incompatibility with one of my Octoprint installs, but it was fixed as soon as the author was notified. This is the only app that I have ever purchased. The free app covers what I need, except for multiple printers. The cost for this feature is worth the small price. There is room for improvement regarding multi-printer identification.

OctoApp is really good. Super easy to check on my print remotely so I don't have to go downstairs. My gripe is that it drains my battery EXTREMELY fast. That's even the case if I opened it at home and it disconnected when I'm out, like it's constantly trying to ping my printer when it's not on the same network. I really wish I could tell it to stop when I know I can't connect remotely with my current configuration

This is THE app for managing your printer with octoprint. I have used several other apps, some free and some paid for, nothing comes close. The free version does everything you need it to and if you opt to support the developer the extra features makes it just that much better. The third party plugins it works with is an added bonus. With my setup connecting from home or remotely is completely seamless. Do not look any further this app is the best, hands down.

Features other apps offer for free are not available such as the ability to add and save multiple servers and easily switch between them. Additionally while it's a pretty app it's layout is geared towards larger screens as layout elements take up large amounts of screen area I found I can get everything I need in an app called OctoRemote for free, including multiple servers AND webcam access. That developer only asks for donations and doesn't require payment for core features that should be free

I thought looking at octoprint mobile pages was the coolest thing ever but I was wrong. This app is exceptionally well designed with a ui that works perfectly in a handheld device. The slicer thumbnails and octolapse integration is also beautifully done. I just started a print from my watch too so I can pretty much take over the world.

Amazing app and even better developer. OctoApp is different than OctoEverywhere. I understand this now and gladly support both. They work so well together to monitor my prints, remotely adjust fine details, and even make sure I have no failures. If you run an OctoPi you need this app. If you run OctoPi and OctoEverywhere, you can't live without this app. If you ever have issues the developer is fast to respond, pleasant, and great to work with. Look forward to supporting this app for years!

I just recently got into 3d printing with an Ender 3 v2 for Christmas. Just printing things is only part of the fun of it. Designing models, building an enclosure, upgrades on the printer and of course, an OctoPrint installation on an old chromebox I got from ebay. I started trying out some of the Android remote control apps for OctoPrint and finally came across OctoApp and I'm sure glad I did! This is without a doubt the best of them all. The layout of the app is simple and attractive. The management functions are organized in a sensible manner and not overwhelming. The app supports plugins installed on your OctoPrint installation. Works great on my phone over a VPN connection. Extremely responsive even over cell network connection. I recently contacted the developer about supporting a brand new (5 days old) plugin that I wanted to use to control lights in my enclosure. He let me know that he had already put the functionality in the latest beta version. I really wasn't expecting such a quick reply or solution. Thanks for this app and the amazing support!
