Edit: Thank you for replying. I'm on version 4.14.0, seems to be the latest. Also, it pops up even when the app is in the background already and I'm just switching back to it. Started showing a privacy related prompt *every time* I open the app regarding 'advanced support'. Can you kindly store my preferences of not sharing more data than needed and stop pestering me?

Very slow interface so I try avoid using it. The e-shop doesn't always work. The rare times I do use the interface I have to mentally prepare myself to be in the right mindset so I won't lose my patience. With an app like that, the WiFi connectedness is really nothing more than a gimmick (so your husband who never does laundry would agree with you that it's worthwhile to buy that expensive Miele device 😆).

I got a Miele dishwasher with Wifi but I can't add the machine to the app. I've tried the regular way, but it always fails to find the appliance in the wifi during the final step (eventhough I can see it in the network when I access my router). WPS Push Button method doesn't work either. It does find the machine but during the final step at either "searching for updates" or "sending authentification key to appliance", the app just closes itself every single time. Very frustrating :/

It's incredible how laggy this app is! But okay, laggy is a problem with an annoying but simple solution: "wait a bit longer". I can live with laggy, it's just not optimal and thus I'd rather not. What I found much more disappointing was when I switched my phone and found all statistics of my washing machine were not to be found in the app after registration of my device. Why have an account if data isn't synchronised? >< That's a much bigger issue than laggy...

Before an update I was able to at least connect to my washing machine even if the menus were pretty convoluted. I used it mostly for monitoring rather than actually controlling. Now I can't even connect. I have tried through WPA as well as scanning the code, nothing worked. Love the machines, but the developers should be fired.

The app is a joke. It exists solely so Miele can claim their appliances have WiFi connectivity. I have their steam combination oven. On the rare occasion a successful connection is made, it quickly becomes apparent that there are no features. The connection process is overly complicated and rarely succeeds. I genuinely do not see a single feature this app offers.

This app is a complete disgrace. It is almost laughable how buggy everything is. Despite me having the patience of a saint I only managed to connect three out of 7 appliance I own. The majority of them would simply resist by timing out or by keeping me jumping through the never-chaning set of hoops. Bonus points for unstable cloud connections and making meaningful usage statistics conditional on a data-sharing / marketing opt-in. Bizarre.

It stopped working after some updates. it cant find the oven which was conected with ap. and is connects to wifi. Update: I solved the issue. Problem was restricted access of the appliance to internet. It seems that to establish the connection App goes through Miele server. Giving the full internet access on router, the app could find the oven in lical WiFi. For me very strange setup and not documented. Nevertheless as now the app is working I updated the rating, to be fair. Update docs!
