This is a good app, and I feel a bit mean-spirited giving less than five stars. However, there is room for improvement. Firstly, the fingerprint security is great, and the intruder photo capture is clever. Functionality is good, although users can't change an incorrectly date.. this creates a new empty entry. The name, Diary++, doesn't suggest its great security feature, and the icon could be neater. I would like a templates option, with prompts about things to remember mentioning in each entry.

App is good and worth using. It would be better if ads are removed. Two improvements: 1- Date navigation should be improved. If we need to search to ready entry for last year, we need to navigate 12 times. 2- When we select second grid to select particular date to read the entry, content of that day is displayed at the bottom of screen in two lines and it's difficult to scroll down to read the text. When the date is selected, the resultant text should be displayed in full screen.

Just installed a few minutes ago and I already love the app. And even though you don't need to I went ahead and got the premium (only $1.49)just to remove the ads. I do have a suggestion for the app. The option to add a photo to the days entry. Still an awesome app. Had to get a new phone and I had no problems transferring the entries. Was wondering if maybe in the next update you could add an angry emoji

Excellent! Initially the ads are disruptive but after just half an hour of using the app I had no hesitation in paying for the premium ad-free user experience. It is not overloaded with features I don't need and those that are implemented work flawlessly - various lock options, Google Drive backup and restore, etc. The interface is pleasant. I find the five face emoticons the optimum - no need for any other. I am really impressed with this quality product that matches my needs perfectly!

Well this app is better than the others. Other apps are complex and too girly. So, this one is good.. Also, there is a lock system WHERE if a person tries to open your Diary and fails for 2 times (you can choose the number of times), then it captures the culprit's face... This is the best feature... Only problem: We can't insert any pictures in our diary... Please try to fix this... then it will be better if I could insert images of my experience of the day.

Pros: *Fingerprint lock *Entries are set up so you can easily scroll through *The ability to mood map is beautiful *UI is so easy to use and makes for a really smooth overall experience Suggestions: *A tagging system would make this a five star app for me. I feel like this is the only thing I'm really missing. *Ads are really loud. Even on the lowest sound setting, the ads were echoin in my room *It would be nice to be able to adjust background colors. The defaults are a bit bright

Good, simple app. Fits the bill for simple journaling. The fingerprint lock is great and it's really easy to use. It's more than perfect for my needs. There are however 3 drawbacks: 1) the backups are not automatic and they are not encrypted/password protected, 2) the mood indicator always defaults to "happy" with no way to change the default value, and 3) it's not possible to set a time on the entries, which makes multiple entries for a given day displayed out of order.

I have been using this app for two years now and I appreciate the constant updates lately too! Especially with the improved "search" function! I wish though there was more granular and specific controls to view your emotion graphs for the entries, for example I love how I can view how my emotions was from the graph by going back "last year" but it would be cool if we can put a specific date, to see the graph for a particular month and year. Would love to see this feature added, thank you!
