No other station captures the Austin Music Experience like KUTX 98.9 FM. What you'll hear is a hand-curated, alternative music mix with a local twist. Our hosts, aka DJ's, have more than 300 years on the radio combined--most of that in Austin. The music staff collaborates on picking the best songs, albums and artists from the great pool of talent that makes Austin the "Live Music Capital of the World," as well as from musicians beyond our backyard. You'll be sure to discover new favorites and enjoy familiar tunes with us.

This version of our app focuses on two things--a high-quality stream and the playlist. We've thrown a couple other things in there too, but this is what our listeners have asked for.
