Incredible! I was looking for a good app for months when I heard about this app... I tried it and loved it. the equaliser is miles better than poweramp, the ui is nice and somewhat original with the now playing screen. I love the dynamic look and the material design rather than material you. it is very easy to navigate, and the artwork picker is software sent from heaven. wish you could download the images straight from the app though. I bought it a few days ago and I don't think I'll switch.

As someone coming from the formerly excellent 'BlackPlayer Ex' this is the closest I've found in terms of quality. I do wish it had more choices regards the look of the now playing screen, which seem rather limited around the background and button style itself. Animation for track swiping gestures would be good, and frustrating that the library view keeps losing the artist art if I set it from the phones local gallery. Almost a 5 Star app.

One of my major gripes is the fact that whenever I start a new queue, repeat is automatically set to repeat queue and I can't seem to find the option to set repeat to stay off. That aside, I've been using GoneMad for many years now. It's the best with it's customization, meta data editing, and queueing capabilities w 'add to queue' and 'play next' (I use these a lot!)

Great customization and UI. Latest update fixed many scanning issues. Still hoping for a grid mode to enabled views for genre, playlists, smart playlists, years etc.

Sounds great and doesnt vary too greatly from my stock player that comes with my DAP. However, the seek forward/back could be improved by allowing it to continue seeking if the physical button is held down. Other apps allow continuous seeking natively despite my DAP having only prevtrack, play/pause, and nexttrack buttons

After the apocalyptic fail of BlackPlayer EX, which was my music player of choice for years, I had to find a new music player app. I tried a few, but nothing came close to the experience I've had with GoneMAD. An easy to use, customisable interface that makes playback, equalization, and MP3 tagging a quick and easy experience. Finding artist or album artwork is a joy. Aesthetically, it's the best I've seen since BlackPlayer EX. Genuinely 100% worth paying for the full version.

So far the only local music app that is satisfactory for me. External playlist compatibility, opens fast, and works with custom music folders. Surprisingly I have found no other app that does all of these well. I like musicolet for the advanced UI options and queues, but it just does poorly in some areas. For now this is my music app of choice

When I add default Music folder to Ignore Path list and select another folder where I put my audio files and run scan, the tracks get found but nothing shows up in the library. Only way to fix this is to not add Music folder to Ignore Path. Then it also scans ringtones etc that are present in Music folder. Can it be fixed? Do we have to live with Music folder when we have our library in another folder in shared memory?
