Hideous experience. ▪︎Trip/Flight credit doesn't work! ▪︎Costly mistakes due to incessant, annoying, and distracting UPSELLING clutter and pop-ups. ▪︎Loses information, so start over. NO customer service. It's a really hideous experience! Plan to have at least 30 minutes wasted with app trying to load and then be told to call because their system is having problems and it can't complete the transaction.

I really can't fit into the 500 character limit just how bad this app and this airline is. Registered for AA FF program? Doesn't matter. Didn't get boarding status and didn't get FF points. Sometimes you get the right boarding passes, sometimes you'll get old ones. Sometimes your flight will be delayed and on time at the same time with zero explanation. I'm trying to check seats for a flight a few days away and it's telling me it can't make changes 45 minutes before the flight. Absolute garbage.

The app is consistently unable to pull up boarding passes, which is a pretty critical and basic function. Unfortunately, this has happened on several trips now. It was especially frustrating when they changed the plane on my last flight and my seat changed. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix the problem.

Pure trash. Trying to check in on the app for the last 3 hours. It goes the section where it asks for your email and cell phone. When you add it and hit contit, it loads and nothing, it loads and nothing x50 . True trash I had to go online to check in a d even after that, when I put my info into the app, it still says Check In and asks the steps above ..way after I completed checking In online. Trash app

Not much use beyond boarding pass and points. And the points seem useless. Look up "Book with miles", you'll get limited options and they'll be the worst ones available for a high amount of miles. Then there's that I can't even find receipts. United app is much better, especially if you have to complete vouchers for work travel. Getting worse with every trip

Please add a button to save to Google Wallet!!! AA does have one of the better airline apps. Still a few weird navigation issues (like only linking to bag tracking from the home page but not the itinerary details) and could really use an actual navigation menu rather than lots of links and back buttons. Hasn't really seem much updating lately, tho.

When I go to check in 24 hours in advance of the flight, the app doesn't do anything. For the last three weeks, and I travel a lot, my check is purposefully delayed a minute before I can actually check in when the icon finally pops up. This gives others ample time to checkin ahead of me to reserve their upgrade status. I noticed this occurring a few weeks ago when I made mention of AA's poor flight performance which causes vast delays; Bad weather has nothing to do with it.

The app design logic needs to be clarified. It makes no sense. The current flight information jumps in on the day when you are flying but remains disappeared before and after. And you need to enter your flight confirmation number to see your flight reservation. Isn't it supposed to automatically link to your name and account????
