Sooooo frustrating! It never fails.... when I need to communicate with my guest the most via mobile , the app gives a 'something went wrong' error with every task I try to do. .. there are zero workarounds except to drive back to my office and handle the task from my desktop computer ..... What am I going to do and that's just not an option? Update: 3 years later and this app is still almost unusable. I don't know why I even accept VRBO anymore!

This owners app is really bad. Half of the time I cant get anything to load to communicate with guests. For as much money as we pay VRBO for our own property listings, the app should function. Also they have a new function where the primary photos you select to showcase your home are rotated to all photos. So while I have photos of the bathrooms in my profile for guests to see the home, I wouldn't want it to be the primary photo of my property when the home is ocean front. Terrible decision!

Dropping this from 3 to 1 star! I CAN NO LONGER READ INQUIRIES. I do not have instant book turned on. Travelers are required to send an inquiry before booking. VRBO owner mobile app does not open those messages any longer. It's one of the basics of what the app should do. I soverely get any VRBO bookings I might just cancel it all together. Besides it never seems to want to sink my calendar from Airbnb and it only gives me headaches.

Not worth downloading. can't add more than one picture at a time or send attachments to guests needed when sending damage charges. It refuses to upload images of certain standard sizes from a phone or if they're too big. The app struggles to load messages. It's impossible to adjust a guests trip dates and charges using the app, it will just change the reservation without allowing you to update charges. It will incorrectly calculate reservation change charges also.

The app itself is Slow, Glitchy, Doesn't show up to date info on my customer reviews/ ratings, etc and it's Not user friendly. As for vrbo, I've hosted two guests so far, and didn't get paid immediately, so I contacted vrbo about it and they told me i would be paid 9/20 (30 days after my first guest checked in). It's 9/23 and they still haven't paid me for either stay. If I don't get paid today, I won't be hosting through vrbo again. Air bnb is SO much better!

The app is very difficult to navigate. It glitches or won't go back a page and requires me to close to application and navigate back to where I was. When I started hosting I got random phone calls and emails from their support team that I assumed were spam because they were from international numbers and I had no context as to why they were contacting me in the first place. The only inquiry I got after a full month on the site was incredibly sketchy and I reported them. Just use AirBnB.

This app is still garbage. It's buggy, doesn't respond or refresh. For years now, it's been this way, and it's mind-boggling how they can't fix it. Also, vrbo has become more aggressive with fees, penalties for owners, and onerous rules and regulations. It's a matter of time before a competitor eats their lunch. Update: renter trying to contact me via the app regarding an immediate issue. I'm unable to "refresh" to bring up my conversations. This app is absolutely criminal.

The application is completely not working at all. First I had several issues trying to login. Next once I was finally able to login, nothing was loading, and every single button was throwing an error. Absolute garbage of an app. What's the point of charging your hosts all those fees if you all can't even have the simplest of functions working properly. Very dissapointed to the point that I'm about to pull my listing off this platform.
