It's a great app! Free version. The work behind the scenes saves me the time from having to do the research. There's a breakdown of ingredients and explain the risk factors. I scanned a Korean Face cleansing kit, and got the English translation of the ingredients. It doesn't work for all, but I was grateful for that one. They provide healthier alternatives as well. No ads, a plus! I look forward to seeing more products added. For a small yearly subscription, there's more. Thank you, Yuka Team!

My mom and I are absolutely obsessed with this app. We literally have been going to the grocery store and scanning so many different things and have been eating better because of it. I love the fact that it also tells you information about skin care and cosmetic products. I love how the app breaks down each product by ingredient and how it recommends better and healthier alternatives. I do wish however that the app expanded a bit more into product categories like laundry and dish detergents.

By far, my favorite app of all time. My skin has never looked better since learning about the hazardous additives is my skincare products and swapping them out for better (and less costly!) products. Now I just have to start using this app more regularly for food 😊. I also want to request household cleaning products be added to the app. Especially for things like laundry detergent.

I enjoy using this app. It comes in handy while I'm shopping or when I'm putting a shopping list together. The problem I'm having is that sometimes when I search for a food, the list may show an item twice (the same product), one with a good rating and one with a bad rating. This can get a little confusing sometimes. Other than that, the app is great.

Since using this app, the free version, I've lost almost 20lbs. I feel more in control of my life than ever before. If a product does not scan, I look for something that will. If a product rates poorly, this app gives me healthier options. It tells me exactly what additives are in my food (including meats) and health and beauty products. Then, it breaks it down even further by telling me about the risks that each may pose, and I can even read the scientific research on them. EVERYONE needs this!

Lots of useful information, but I'm just not using it often (read, at all) and I'm clearing out apps. Update: Would be great if I could add what I've eaten per day or week and it tells me which nutrients I haven't had enough of, with suggestions of what to eat to fulfill it. It should also tell me the excess bad stuff I've eaten, with suggestions of what to swap out. Big ask, but since you asked 🤷🏻♂️

I've just downloaded the app and so far, I find it quite useful. I love that the ingredients are explained in-depth and information is cited and written in plain terms to make things very easy to understand for anyone. I appreciate that you can search for products by type. I was bummed with the inability to search by ingredient. I think adding this as a feature would aid in situations where the product you're looking for isn't yet in the database.
