The UI is pretty bad, especially when coming from the qando app. You click on tickets there and have to select tickets again in the wienMobil app. Payment data is not remembered, has to be re-entered over and over again. Payment did not work. My payment app saud, it was successful, but the WienMobil App said an error occured and did not show a ticket! I had to buy a paper-ticket in addition! I'd uninstall immediately, but will wait to be able to prove I didn't get a ticket despite payment.

Unfortunately, the ticket syncing is unreliable and I constantly lose the information for my yearly ticket. Also the syncing fires multiple times a day and needs too much time on my Huawei. Other than that, the design is really nice and modern, although it takes some time to get used to this app and know how to handle the information properly.

No option to add an ticket you already bought, very poor design choice! I bought a Semesterkarte online, but not with the app, once logged into the app, i have no active tickets. trying to add it results in an error called: Fehler innerhalb der Geschäftsvereinbarung. System is way to confusing for people.

The compass tends to get stuck, then flip 180° (works flawlessly in other apps so not a hardware issue). Wien mobil seems completely unaware of many stops' relocation due to construction work - even though it is Wiener Linien's own official app! Suggests routes with a generous connecting time of 0 minutes - fun! What should have been a 30 minutes Nachtbus ride home ended up taking over two hours - while sober. The odysseys this garbage app inflicts upon well-oiled night-owls must be truly epic.

Tickets bought through the app don't work to board the bus from the airport. Driver will ignore all the data on the ticket screen (direction, date, validity) and will only trust the scanner that says it doesn't work. Money lost. UPDATE: Customer service just ignores my requests. The fact that it can happen that a non-refundable ticket will just not work with whatever bus driver uses as a scanner makes buying tickets through the app absolutely not trustworthy. No matter how low chance of that is

In its generality a useful app but every time i try to buy a ticket i get the error: "No network connection available. Please establish an internet connectiom or disable flightmode. (Code: 101)" Guess what i have an internet connection and my phone is not in flight mode, how can you mess up a such essential feature so bad!?

Doesn't work. bought a ticket once but now it just gives me network error whenever I click purchase while my GPS and Internet connection is stable. tried it multiple times from different locations, updated the app etc, nothing. Now I can walk to f nowhere to buy a ticket like its 1980. Jeez.

(a) can't buy ticket directly for chosen route, need to input things again for buying ticket. (b) Apparently can't buy cheap 4,50 airport ticket with S-Bahn, despite selling expensive CAT ticket. (c) Often just doesn't take "proceed to checkout" when trying to buy tickets or gives error message. Incredibly shoddy piece of work. Wien Public Transport is great but this thing is a disgrace.
