Screen Alive Elite has features to allow your device to keep screen awake always or till a specific duration of inactivity. You can make it smart enough to keep screen on while charging or switch to a lower timeout when the device battery is low.You can keep the notification on and use the overlay button - a new concept to enforce your device to keep screen on. Keeping the overlay button on your screen can also help you to keep screen on during calls.
A resizable widget is available as well that you can add to your home screen. Additionally, quick settings and notifications are given to keep you updated of the settings. All of this with No-Ads! (We, at Snapcore, value a distraction free experience, hence all of our products, whether free or paid, are ads free - now and forever.)
Note: This app requires your permission to make changes to system settings. To use the overlay button, display over other apps permission is required.

This is the only working solution that I've found for keeping the screen on during calls! I was already using it for things like keeping the screen on during drive throughs and similar situations, and it worked great. However, I also needed the screen on during calls because my phone kept turning the screen off even when using the loudspeaker or with headphones. So after working a bit with it I realized you have to have the overlay on during the calls, which I hadn't been doing, and it works!!

great app, but no one off purchase, subscription only. I take issue with this business model no matter the app so unfortunately this is a deal breaker. if you don't mind subscriptions this is great, but until a one off purchase option is added I'm looking elsewhere. I'd happily throw $5 at this for a permanent unlock, but I just don't feel comfortable with subscriptions.

Samsung S20 Ultra Android 12: Does not work at. all. When I set a new screen timeout, save it, then hit the light bulb icon again, it still shows the system timeout. I tried setting screen timeout to both Always On and 1 hour; neither works. I turned on the overlay button and it does nothing. Tap, long press, doesn't matter. Nothing happens. The only thing I can do is drag it around the screen. And, yes, I did enable all requested permissions. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Doesn't work on my honor device. When disabled, if you enable screen on, it keeps the screen on. Once the screen is on, and you then disable the app, the screen won't ever go off until you restart the phone. This is the case via the widget or directly in the app. The app does have the "write system" permission. Happy to change review if you fix it. Update. Contacted Google for a refund as I'm not wasting my time with wannabe deva who don't test their products correctly. Refund issued by Google.

Seems to work ok. 1) the floating widget doesn't toggle anything; you have to go back to the home screen to turn it off/on. 2) [purely aesthetic] the icon won't center in its place on the grid. It seems to be upper-left justified in its container, which is an easy code repair. It does what I bought a lifetime license for. Just not quite as prettily or easily as I hoped. Fix those 2 "problems" & it's 4.9 star. Otherwise, 4.4. P.S. I don't give out 5s anymore, the only perfect code is mine :)

UPDATE: I'd say I wasted my money. PREVIOUSLY: Seems to work but causes "Unable to write to System Settings" error messages when attempting to access the app at certain times and during phone restarts. I'd like to be able to use this app without those error messages, obviously. I also suspect this app interferes with overall normal system functionality but that's harder to pin down. I've reinstalled it to try and find out and decide if I wasted my money. Samsung Galaxy A20, Android 10.

A really useful app from a very helpful developer. I tried the free version, and could immediately see how valuable it would be to have the on/off toggle permanently on screen. Worth the lifetime payment on its own! The developer responded quickly to an initial problem, with a simple fix. I'm delighted!

It works solidly on Android 12, thank you! The only shortcoming for me is that the widget is white on bright yellow and an odd shape. It is way too bright on my mostly dark screen and is harder to read than it needs to be. I will also never use that pull out flag. It would be great to have a few widget options which are simple toggle buttons in basic colors. It would be even better if I could choose the background, off-bulb and on-bulb colors myself. What do you think? Thanks for a great app!
