After installation, the app runs in a “Preview mode”. Full-featured Premium version can be purchased in Locus Store (within Locus Map app) for about 4 EUR. You can test all main features compatible with your Garmin before purchase to see whether the app behaves correctly with your Android phone and Garmin combination.
By unlocking Premium mode, you will get:
- removed Preview Mode overlays
- no Preview mode splash screen
- vibration alerts before navigation events
- dynamic screen manager (hides unused screens etc.)

To use the app, you must install:

I use bundle of Locus on smartphone and Garmin Phenix for city commuting and touring by bicycle. It changed my navigation strategy entirely. Before I needed to prepare all the route prior the beginning of the ride. Now I can go to 1000-km tour with only first 1-day track and draw next tracks on the go, depending all conditions. I rode in such way already several thousand kilometers. Thank you!!

Dears, your support was truly fast yet the problem was not resolved but only compensated with the options I provided you,eventually showing only directions through the app and not been able to record.This is half of the app utilisation for me , and I have almost the half rating.I didn't ask for half refund though (haha) but indeed since you were up to the issue I could give another star and make it three. If there are prerequisites like memory availability(as I feed backed you on for this) or anything else this is something that someone should know before paying an app that promises , even partial, compatibility.

Works ok on my vivoactive 3 though heartrate data does not record along with speed and position in locus maps. Also the trial nag covers too much of the screen and its annoying how it comes and goes seemingly at random id prefer it,just stays put

I bought it with the application because the display of maps on the Garmin enduro was announced. As a result, I bought a plugin, bought a locus map clasic - it doesn’t work even without internet, then I still need to buy a subscription to locus map - it still doesn’t work either with offline maps without the Internet or with the old version of garmin connect. developers are not responding. Money wasted

Simply and flawlessly transfers tracks from Locus Map pro installed on my Pixel phone to my Garmin forerunner 945. Much easier than using Garmin Connect. More importantly this uses bluetooth while Garmin connect requires a WiFi or cell connection, which is often not available where I hike and bike.

I open the app on my phone and it says that it is connected to my Garmin Forerunner but nothing shows on my watch. Still trying to troubleshoot the problem, unsuccessfully. The phone app appears to work well. I purchased the pro thinking it might solve my problem, but no such luck.

Unfortunately I cannot get back this feature in locus app. Is only buy button. I bought it 299coins but is completely useful. On my instinct 2 solar cannot get any direction from locus app on watch. Can I get back my coins?

Great app that adds detailed maps to my otherwise map less Garmin fenix 5. And has much more detailed maps than is included on the fenix 5 plus. I had this on a fenix 3 before, worked in that too.
