Same issue as a lot of people, app is unusable as it can't get past the setting up the device. AC doesn't connect, it can't get past the "sending ssid & password to device". Have tried all the methods to fix this issue (everything from reddit, product review aus, a tech expert advice site and even the tips in this review section. No luck

The app coughed up a 5g error to our main internet. I changed the router to an extender that was plugged in nearby and only runs at 2.4g and it connected and works fine. After switching wifi off, it connects when signing in to app remotely so Away from home. It Let's you control everything. 👍 Thanks. Great app.

It just works. When you turn on the AC it always starts on cold mode and only then it allows the selection of hot mode. This is very annoying as the communication between the AC and the app is slow which is understandable.

Terrible, I have set some scheduled air-conditioning times to come on, however I'm unable to delete them. The other issue is the times aren't accurate which could be a timezone issue.

remove the "scan QR code" on every app start !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited: Thank you for removing of QR code on staring app 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 !! App was working fine for a while, now whenever i go to click inside the AC to set a timer i just get a blank screen and an error message about a webview file not found error. Clearly the latest update broke something with this app. Trying to see if i can downgrade to previous version since it was the August 30 2024 update that broke this. Update: download of the 3.3.4 APK from mid-august fixed the problem. Annoying that i had to download the old version outside of play store to fix this.

The app wants me to scan a code. I have no code. This app also requires the user to agree to have their personal collected. The only option is to to accept or quit. I'm never buying another Rinnai product (this garbage came with my portable aircon).

With the last update, the UI is much better than before, and I like it, but performance is much worse, it is very slow to load my AC and when I do action, each action takes a few seconds, so if I want to switch to cool and change fan speed and set temperature, it can take like 30 - 40 seconds, that's a lot. I wish also you have some kind of preset profits
