Idea is great. However, it made Tesla Model S to abnormaly charge (or not charge) even when on the app smart charge was turned off. It caused A LOT of trouble, we even tried to resolve with Tesla service. Turns out I needed to deactivate car from account and account itself with app (for good measure) which fixed the problem.

Some progress has been made as of october 2023, now app shows when it expects to charge. i3.is reliably charged at set time daily. Still, used power graph sometimes registers charged energy and sometimes just shows nothing. Can't comment solar compatibility until spring.

Idea is great but it doesn't seem to work reliably with my Hyundai at least, even though everything was setup according to their instructions. Also seems to change my AC charging limit from 80% to 100%.

So far so good. I don't have an EV, but this app tells me the best time to use my dishwasher, washing machine and other power hungry devices. The developer tells me there's many more integrations on the roadmap. Not just EV charging control.

Wooooeew: that is cool. That will save me a lot of money. VW id4 app does not even allow me to schedule charging. This one does everything for me. I'm just plugging in my car each night and then it is charged in the morning. Give these people a medal. They are saving the environment, and my wallet with it.

Great when it works, and once I understood that the smart charge window is also the time when Gridio is "active" I got it to work for me. I.e. outside this time span Gridio will not stop your car from charging if it is connected to a charger.

Very useful app. Works great with Škoda Enyaq IV. I would suggest it to anyone that charges a car with a dumb charcher. This in fact is even better than having a smart charger.

This is a brilliant app that charges your car at the cheapest rate (if you have the right agreement with your provider), while you soundly sleep.
