Mostly the app is fine but there are 2 very annoying things: 1) the app only supports one acct and we don't share passwords so my husband has to periodically log into the app on my phone. 2) The charging status is too small for people with vision problems. Either it needs to be bigger or have a tooltip that pops up a bigger view when tapped. Sometimes if we forget to charge the halo I can't tell if it is safe to let the dogs out because I can't tell how much charge is left

The app interface requires too many swipes to quickly give reinforcement to your dog. It would benefit from one screen where you can both see the map/location of the collar AND quickly give reinforcement cues. Eliminate all of the "set up" features on the main screen. The collar also doesn't stay where it should and it is as tight as we can possibly make it. The collar location is often greyed out, the collar spends too much time rotating through searching for wireless, Bluetooth, and GPS.

UPDATE: Support has been amazing! If we need to submit a warranty request, they are very timely with communication and sending a replacement. This app works with the Halo collar to help us set up the boundaries and settings. It's easy to use and change the settings on the device. We can see where our dog is all the time. It gives our dog the freedom to roam our property and give us peace of mind. Sometimes the GPS on the collar is sketchy but support is always responsive and helpful.

We have a lot of property and there's no reason my dogs shouldn't be able to explore it. Hence the reason I got Halo in the first place. The collar worked great for the first month or so but as of last night my collar won't connect via LTE at all. Super disappointed. It is being replaced under warranty and Jackie was really nice and helpful in getting everything set up for me. Fingers crossed the next one works.

These collars, the app, and the customer service have been wonderful. I forgot to turn my fences on one time and since my dogs were wearing their collars I was able to see where my dogs were 4 miles away, draw a quick fence around them and turn on my fences and then drive to go get them. If it weren't for the collars, I probably would have never seen them again. Also, whenever there is an issue, the customer service reps are nice and helpful, always taking care of the problem.

We are new to the Halo collar. Would like to be able to walk a boundary and set up a fence manually rather than have to adjust the fence the app gives you for a particular location. Seems like walking the boundary and setting up manually would be more accurate and less time-consuming. This used to be a feature in the app, but I was told by product support the feature was discontinued. Please bring back this feature.

My 2 dogs are learning to obey the boundary and I am very excited about that. The GPS fails now and again but is mostly consistent- not the fault of the collar but out remote location. I love the notification feature on my phone. One suggestion would be to add history on the map like Tractive does, the graphs are not particularly helpful. Over all it's a great system!

Being 70 years old I struggle with the technology but with patience the people working in the dog park have been able to take care of all of my concerns, mostly the collar works great but once in a while it gives an inappropriate correction and when it does there is always someone else there to help get the collar back on tract. Definitely recommend this as a way to give your dog freedom and safety.
