Reading through the reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern! I have not been able to connect to the device via the app, the actual device itself I'm not able to control anything from that either! I'm having to turn the boiler off completely because I can't control the heating any other way, but the the water goes off aswel and we are left with cold water! Noticed no reviews have a reply from the developer as far as iv read.. hoping for a response as to why this is happening??

EDIT: Well about a week after leaving this one star review Salus must have done something to fix it! Since the end of December it has worked pretty flawlessly and I thought it was only fair to update. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I can't put up with this app any longer! Only connects very occasionally now. Used to connect every time and was pretty good although even when working normally you had to reopen the app after you had made any changes to make sure it had worked (which it normally hadn't).

It does the job about 50% of the time. Pain in the neck. Most of the time it doesn't connect. It's currently 'refresh successful' but my heatings on and the app says it isn't. Sluggish, unreliable and in need of huge improvement. If it didn't come with the house I'd have been so annoyed with it considering the cost. If you're in the market, do yourself a favour and buy a nest or hive or something actually 'smart'.

Functionality is actually good - change temperatures and schedule - although not on a par with Google Nest in terms of visual appeal and ease of use. Where it rates poorly is it has a pretty high (66% for me) chance of rejecting any manual changes through a "Request failed, try again later" error.

I've had great service from this app for the last three years but it recently stopped. There doesn't appear to be a more recent version than 2.1.8 which I'm using. It's stopped working most of the time. When it fails it just quotes a network error. All the usual techniques of making sure the mobile device is properly on the network have no effect. EG changing networks, then restarting handset, restarting router etc etc.

App is slow to respond, after selection your confirmation i.e On/Off it will then revert back to its previous settings. Frustrating if you want to turn off the heating. Also, it does the same when selection desired temperature. I've been using this app for 4 years, in all this time it has not improved. Poor app development and the way in which they deploy the method of controlling your central heating. The developers obviously do not read the reviews hence they have a below standard review of 3

Works when and how it feels like, you put it on manual and reduce the desired temperature at 18, let's say, half a day later the house is boiling at 23 and the heating still going, aiming at 23.5! Not happy! And it di tend to happen quite often! The only way I found works is closing the app, reopening, put again the desired numbers, close the app again, open again and see what is doing! And repeat the cycle until you get the result you want!

App does not seem to be working. Heating comes on as it pleases. Sometimes heating is on but App is showing it isn't on. This happening a lot lately and costing money in fuel. Sometimes when app is showing the Heating is on, it goes past the desired temp and stops about a degree or so after, not on the desired temp. Not working the best lately, please can you resolve this
