Dependable. Since the app and the TV communicate through WiFi, I can control the TV when the phone is laying on a table in the kitchen -- the traditional infrared remote control can't do that. The app's menus are more flexible than using the Vizio remote control, too. But, the app doesn't see my TV if the phone is connected through a VPN. And, the ads in the app are Too Prominent, 'specially since I never care to watch the Hip-Culture, Made-For-TV-Dramas they're always pushing.

You responded saying to call your award-winning customer service, but they said that I cannot use the volume on the app while I have a Vizio soundbar plugged into my TV. The sound only comes out of the soundbar and I can use my TV remote to turn the volume up or down or mute. But the app will not let me control the volume functions anymore, even though it used to let me. They said I would need a soundbar that connects with WiFi even though it's just set up as an audio output for my TV. Pathetic

BRING BACK THE FAVORITE APPS TAB! How stupid that you made "favorite apps" harder to access. That was the most useful feature. No, I do not want to click, "Home", (scroll down, then across), click, "[ex. Netflix]", then select the device I would like to play on. Omg! Also, WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HAVING A "Watchfree" tab? Smh It's THAT annoying of an issue, that I would rate one star due to the change. Bring back the "Favorite Apps"/"Apps" tabs, and we would have a MUCH higher rating.

I really enjoy this app a great deal. One wish would be function buttons, channel and volume buttons that are faster and not one click or one line at a time. I also wish the home screen in the APP mirrored what you were seeing on the tv home screen. One glitch with Sling, is that the back button does not enlarge the minimized screen that is playing when you are in the program guide. Other than that, if you are not using this APP, you are really missing out.

I use to have a vizio I loved it and wanna get another 1, so much better than Roku in my opinion. The app's failing is there's not many live channels accessible with the app, there's a switch that ses "mobile channels only" and there's not enough options in my opinion, too many blacked out channels I can't access, I'd add more stars if I could. Still keeping the app because Video has less bugs with the apps on the TV and this app might be improved later.

Why can't I just download it onto my PC/laptop or onto my "smart" TV? I don't see the logic in forcing people to use nothing but their tiny tabs (aka phones, since they're more tablet or laptop than phone). I'd rather have a nice big screen with a keyboard. Better yet, come up with a better way for me to control my soundbar. Like a remote control that doesn't rely on using unnecessary and often overcomplicated -- as is usually the case when companies do this -- clutter. Simplicity is king

If you unplug/replug your soundbar for any reason, the app soft locks at "Loading Audio Settings", forcing me to reinstall & redo the initial setup. I hate that I have to use this stupid broken app to change settings; yes you can use the remote, but with the lack of an OSD, you have to rely on a vague row of lights on the bar itself to try to guess what you set your adjustment to. It's so ridiculous! Just show the info on my TV screen and call it a day! Why torture the users w/unnecessary apps!?

App works great and use it all the time, but recently, I have had issues searching for specific movies and tells me no results. I used to be able to search any title, and it would tell me if it was available for rent or free using specific apps. It appears certain titles no longer appear in search. For example, the Wrong Missy movie is available on Netflix, but searching brings the error of no results.
