So far I really like the app. The LIDAR layer is fantastic; I found old trails that show as a slight depression in the LIDAR that are no longer documented which gives me much easier access to some hard to reach spots. I don't put too much stake into high-resolution satellite imagery as much as I used to when I first started out. One thing I would like to see added is an option to add optimal wind to a stand with a comparison to actual wind.

Has some decent features but the maps never seem to load fully even when I have full reception. Maps often blurry and takes forever to get a clear picture of the land after opening and closing the app multiple times. Frustrating to use as who wants to open and close an app 3 or 4 times to get it to load correctly. Also doesnt show all public land like MFL land.

This app is a massive letdown. The free trial offers no value, with maps that are outdated and blurry at best, Sat map 3 seems to be the newest and thats at least 2023. Most features are locked behind a paywall with no previews, making it impossible to evaluate. This app is unpolished and unhelpful in its current state. The devs do address issues so it's promising. I need to test more in DDIL states as thats how I'll be using it. If it doesn't work in my blind it's moot.

I've been using Spartan forge since covid. The overall experience is great in the app has worked far better and has better features than OnX. OnX would be the only thing that can compete against Spartan forge in my opinion. I've recently had some issues with trying to log in and losing all my offline maps. However a quick conversation with Spartan forge through their Instagram page resulted in a swift correction to my problem. It really goes to show how much this means to them. Thank you!

I can't review the content because I can't access the app. First, after downloading, it asks me to accept the TOS. When I click, it is a broken link. I've emailed to ask with no reply. I finally searched the website and found them. After debating with myself because of all the marketing trackers, i decided to give it a try. I signed up this morning, only to receive another error that my account isn't valid. I give up. I un-installed it. I hope others will have better luck.

The Lidar upgrade is totally worth it! It's easy to use and flip through your preferred maps. I am disappointed with the satellite images. They do not update as regularly as they claim even in large urban areas. If you want to look at public land/ National forests the sat images are so fuzzy Google maps is better. I'm still searching for a way to look at recent satellite images and detailed public land images.

The maps are AWESOME.. but.. Please add feet the measuring tool. Also, the pointer or "+" is not accurate when dropping a point to measure. I use the app for work because the maps are so good. If you could update the measuring tool to be (as good as) google earth, i would never use it again. Also.. desktop version. PLEASE!!!

This is by far the best mapping and predictive app you'll get your hands on. I've used other mapping apps and they worked but I couldn't get a fraction of the detail spartan forge can give you. To top it off, it's also one of the most inexpensive apps of its kind too. Bill, the founder, is also very helpful and responsive. I've had a few small questions that were answered by the next morning.
