I absolutely hate this app. It is a personal data collection app that just happens to also give you access to your tickets. The amount of personal information it collects, along with access to your phone, location and Wi-Fi devices is absolutely not required to manage the tickets. I will definitely uninstall it as soon as I get my tickets and never use it again. I'm very disappointed that Silverstone would use this.

Tickets appear, no problems in that respect. One star on principle however - like many (most) other reviewers (customers) I resent having to download an app specifically for tickets and sadly this is becoming more common generally (I've commented similar on the BST Hyde Park app). Email tickets (including the ability to print) were far more convenient and flexible and would have been far easier to share with my Dad who was with me. Oh, and I uninstalled as soon as I got home from the event.

Really need some rethinking. The fact that there is different apps between tickets and events or purchases is annoying enough, the 2 don't communicate. The app also doesn't recognise that googlemail and Gmail is the same. The FAQ doesn't work and I didn't receive some of my parking tickets which I still don't know if that is meant to be or not. Overall, really bad experience.

worrying app. be cautious! forced to use it as a mate bought us tickets for an event at Silverstone! on installation, deeply concerned to see the app wants the below - of which none is essential for a ticket just to go and see an event! - date of birth - access to all your photo and videos! - the above even more ridiculous as the app won't let you take a photo of your ticket anyway - access to all your contacts list! - your location. you've been warned!

No, no, no! I just want to watch some motor racing. You don't need to know all my personal details. Not sure this meets the data minimisation requirements of the data protection act... "Processing of personal data must be adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed". Also it doesn't seem to be compatible with Android/Chrome password auto-generation and auto-fill.

Initially it was fine. We upgraded our tickets today...for which you have to leave the circuit as customer services were the other side...that meant the old tickets were deleted but no new ones have yet appeared...took about an hour to sort out before we were able to re-enter the track with printed tickets...have since reinstalled the app but still nothing- useless!!!! Staff were WAY better- they were great.

An unwanted complication added to the process of ticket distribution. Their code reader wouldn't scan my phone on entry causing a hold up - until the exasperated steward gave up and allowed us in anyway. Why do they need so much personal information? I guess why they decided to do this is in response to recent disruptive activities, but as a general punter this sort of digitisation for the sake of it is just not welcome. It's a faff. One Star.

It's obvious they don't expect anyone to use it through choice. It's not properly linked to Silverstone's ticket-buying site, there's no way for it to work offline (when you're at the event and there's no phone signal, say) and no backup for when it's raining and your touchscreen's not working. From a consumer perspective it's worse than the QR code on a PDF in every way
