Off to a positive start. There's lots of choice and everything I've cooked so far has turned out well. As someone has already mentioned, it would be useful to be able to sort & categorise favourites, but on the plus side, I was delighted when I found I could hide meat-based recipes from the home page 🤗

I have the Feast app installed on my iPad (iOS) and Samsung (Android) phone, both with the same (Guardian subscription) account. However, my saved recipes are not synchronised across the two devices. This defeats the idea of an "app," as I can not access my recipe list created on, say iPad, on my phone. How can this "feature" be missing in a modern app?

Paid app, but still get pestered by full-on Tesco ads. I want to support the Guardian but frankly they take the p. when they charge money but still force you to see ads or 'sponsored' content. It's not acceptable. The number of recipes I'm pretty sure can't be all their back catalogue, which again is pretty poor for a paid app. If it's ad supported and not complete, don't charge for it. I'll give it a chance but will be cancelling if it doesn't improve.

As an android user its perhaps not working to full potential. I get recommendations of recipes on an email but when I click on them I'm not taken to them in the app. I then search for them and they don't exist! Plus noncompartmental saving so I'm limping all recipes in one place. Could be good to be able to divide into sub sections..

Very Tesco orientated but with some delicious recipes from Guardian writers (I don't shop in Tesco very often. Eg why not list feta rather than 'Tesco barrell aged feta?) Very clear instructions and ingredients lists. Sadly no shopping list creator for multiple dishes; if there were then I would probably make this my go to cooking app. Good app but needs development.

Rather well laid out and pretty, wide variety of recipes. Lacks features. No community comments, very valuable. No folders for saved recipes (only bookmarked and cooked). No grocery list function.

Unable to cancel subscription. The apps okay but certainly not worth paying for. Going round in circles trying to cancel the damned thing. Edit following response from developer: your own website needs amending, until then you are deliberately misleading users. Quote: 'In order to cancel, you will need to go to Settings on your device, where you can cancel your Feast subscription'

Paying for content twice: I expected that I could use this app on my Pixel and iPad with the same account. Customer service confirmed that if you want to use the app on both devices you need to subscribe separately, which means paying for content twice. I decided to cancel.
