The UX for the new app is atrocious. Many basic functions are worse than the old app which looked worse but somehow performed better. It takes way too many steps to do simple things like detecting my nearest store or reloading credits. The reloading of credits is also a joke. No notification to confirm that the transaction has gone through? I've unknowingly reloaded it multiple times, and I'm not alone. What's the point of a sleek app that works terribly.

Pretty poor app, even by 2020 standards (the last time it was updated) stock/prices are wrong in the app, it's excruciatingly slow, contact us links don't work so the many errors that occur can't be easily corrected, my credit card was auto-loaded $40 despite me having the option turned off, and it was only set to $10 when it was turned on. You guessed it, not able to contact anyone through the app to fix it, so I was forced to spend the money. Large disconnect between store staff and app.

Hasn't been updated in almost two years and it shows. This app is so far behind the times it should just be scrapped at this point. It doesn't need an update, it needs a complete redo. It's slow, clunky, and has almost no workable features. The fact they continue to advertise this app in stores is just sad. Franchise owners invest a lot in the waves brand, I'd like to use the app, and corporate has dropped the ball hard here. I feel bad for the franchise owners honestly.

Very cumbersome. Slow loading almost painful like dial up days. Then it's not guaranteed your order will go through. I now have money stuck on this app I want to remove from my phone and customer support is impossible to find let alone speak with. Everytime you click the contact us or many other parts of the app it throws up an error message

Lately when I try to open the app to see my card balance, etc, it just "thinks and thinks"....so far I've tried about 5 times, and I neve have been able to get in to see balances. OS Android 9

Not a good app. It correctly gives the location nearest me; however, the online menu does not correspond to what is actually available at my preferred location which makes ordering ahead impossible. They could learn a lot from Starbucks app.

Waves Coffee app continues to impress me. It consolidates gift card balances (Tim Hortons app won't) and works with or in place of gift cards. Also it can auto pay w/ loyalty points (when there are enuff). Mind you, I cannot comment on the ordering experience -- I don't use it to order, just to pay.

I love waves but the app itself still has a lot of room for improvement. Currently, the baristas can scan the barcode to earn points, but they have to manually input the card number to pay.
