Does not work. To activate requires eparaksts mobile contract application. Eparaksts mobile contract application requires eid scan. Rinse and repeat. Same applies for computer/ homepage authentication. Homepage instructions do not provide any help or link that would guide the user to contract application.

Works well and serves its purpose. The eparaksts.lv webpage has quite clear and comprehensive instructions for using the app.

I am a PhD candidate and it wasn't easy for me to understand what is needed for this app and to help my unemployed mom registering for this eID nonsense. I cannot imagine how a laid person would register and use this on an everyday basis. Also, it seems that the app uses the default language of the device and if the device's language is Russian or something else, it defaults to English. I know English, my mom doesn't. This is not user-friendly.
