Works on my old phones (Samsung S5 and Sony Z3, both micro-USB) but not in the new P20 which has USB-C (all with their respective OTG adapters). My midi keyboard+softsynth works on all 3 of them, so it should not be an USB problem. No-name USB microscope, USB ID is 1db6:3610. Answer: Refresh returns nothing. Same effect on a friend's Honor 10. Other test: miscroscope+P20 on the same USB-hub, phone's USB options offers me picture transfer, file transfer, charge, reversecharge, MIDI. None of them works. Microscope's lamps shine.

Amazing software! Works seamlessly. When I encounter problems I just unplug my device and plug it back again. And everything works! :-) Thank you a lot! That is why I chose Android! 🎅🎄🤗 p s. found one annoying feature. A undisableable pop-up, asking if I want to run MScope, whatever I plug into usb port. No, I don't want to run MScope when I plug in Flash or USB Realtek audio ! Annoying. Wish an ability to turn it off. Will try another app and take back one star with me. Will return it if...

Nice app for Digital Microscopes. I bought a cheap Jiusion Digital Microscope on Amazon, and most of the apps that were recommended, were poorly setup or just didn't work. This ones easy to use and works flawlessly for me. I went ahead and bought the pro version for ad free and to support the development further. Not sure why it doesn't have higher ratings. People need to realize the ad supported version is meant for evaluating. Don't want ad's? Buy it!

The app works with no issues in my pixel 3. One annoyance is that every time I plug in a usb device to my phone (including headphones) the app asks if it should start. I use headphone every day, I'd use the app maybe once every few weeks, so found the notification annoying (so much so I removed the app). To be able to configure whether to show a device detected notification (or not show irrelevant devices, or remember settings on a hardware device ID basis) would be a nice enhancement.

This microscope app is perfect! Ads do not show up or stay on the screen the whole time your veiwing stuff! You can flip the veiw 180 degrees to prevent using the scope with a mirrored image! It has not crashed once! (Plug the scope in to your phone prior to oepning the app). It did not ask for permission to access my contacts! Its easy to use and works every time we go to use it (on 2 different phones)! Thank you!

Pretty good. I can be critical of apps but this one only asked for permissions that made sense and I plugged them camera in, then it said "hey, I see a cam plugged into USB, wanna use it?" and it worked fine. There aren't ads but there are buttons all over it that encourage buying the %4.99 pro version. No need, the free version will work great for almost everybody.

It's not the best looking app, but you forget about it anyway when you plug a cam or microscope to it, because what's important here is that it works. I've connected a cheap usb cam/microscope to my phone through usb-c, and tried several apps. All of them were big talk, but no walk. This one? This one worked out of the box, in an instant. It's beautiful. I think it works better on my phone than with the dedicated program on pc. Thank you for honest work, devs.

Works with Pixel 2 using Android 11! A FREE APP that allows me to capture video / photos from my digital microscope and connects to the system camera! I had been using a different program prior to upgrading to Android 11 *NOTE: user must manually upload media files from MScopes to (Google Photos, drive...) as opposed to them being saved automatically. No biggie for me! 5 stars.
