Update: if you go into account settings to "give feedback" or "report an issue", those pages don't open! Are they doing that on purpose? I only have this app because it has exclusive podcasts. It's soooo slow and buggy, at least on my Pixel. It closes podcasts that I am halfway through all the time. This app is worse than free podcast apps.

Same as others - the content is great but the app is buggy. It is slow, can take a while to start playing a show, shuts itself off, and when reopened it won't have the show I was listening to queued up. I do like the currently listening to section as a workaround. I spent more than 30 mins yesterday trying to get it to open and resume my show while I wasn't on WiFi but in a full service area and it absolutely would not. It basically doesn't work when not on WiFi.

THEY'VE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION! There are no ways to stop it. If you go to settings and cancel subscription... Nothing happens. If I go to 'my subscriptions' in Google Play, it doesn't appear but my others do. In the app, ok settings, all buttons work but if I go to 'send feedback' or 'report an issue', the button simply don't work and nothing happens. Thieves! I've been trying for months now. Give me my money back!

Terrible app for a great show. The app is such a pain I consider canceling every time I use it. Riddled with bugs. It doesn't accuracy track what I've already listened to. I'm literally considering making a spreadsheet so I can know what I've already heard. Ridiculous. Fast forward and rewind often crash the app. Super frustrating. I love the show but hate this app experience and dread opening it.

Great content, terrible app. What kind of podcast app does not have a playlist function? There is a queue that you can add shows to but it also generates its own queue based on which podcast you're listening to and adds a bunch of episodes that you've already listened to. The queue isn't user friendly at all. There is a lot of quality content so I continue to pay for it, but I really wish I could listen to the podcasts through another podcast app. Luminary needs to fix the playlist issue.

The content is great, but the app is absolutely terrible. The queue feature is useless. You can add episodes to it, but it doesn't advance through episodes as they are completed. Also, there is not an easy way to actually navigate to the queue from within the app. I really, really wish Luminary had RSS feeda that would let you listen to their content using an app that was created by people that have something resembling a clue.

As others have said, annoying interface. It restarted the same played episodes over and over (would not go down the list for a given show despite how I toggled the list by oldest/newest). Would not replay from my notifications, had to go back into the app to press play. The queuing works so far but I have to scroll through and line up a bunch all at once. This process is annoying as the app is hard to navigate in general. I'm subscribed for a specific show but will go back to Spotify soon.

Got this for the History on Fire podcast, and it is the most frustrating podcast app I've ever used. Not only is the performance generally much worse than other podcasting apps, but the interface is horrible. Podcasts are hard to find, it constantly forgets which podcast you were in the middle of listening to, and it doesn't let you mark episodes as complete or hide them. The result is to listen to a three episode podcast I have to refind the episodes a dozen times or more. Horrible app
