* Permissions Notes *

- READ_CONTACTS is required to be able to include contact thumbnails in the created app, and then only if specified by the user
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is required to put the new app on external storage (note: on some devices, 'external storage' is non-removable, which is also fine)
- WAKE_LOCK is required to stop the device sleeping while the app is being created
- created apps do not necessarily have these permissions, only the ones needed for the functions they use

This worked months ago when i first discovered it, but i just tried now without success. From Tasker, i select a task, and select Export from the burger menu, then I select As App, but nothing else happens, no dialogue pops up like it used to. Tried rebooting phone, and reinstalling this app, no luck. Can anyone help? If so, I'll happily asjust the low score.

Works great on my OnePlus phone. So I side loaded it on my Android TV but I can't pass the Disclaimer screen while creating an app from the Tasker. Can you fix this? The same issue was there for Tasker Disclaimer page but when I hit back on that page a pop-up is displyed to confirm. Something similar would help in this case also. Thanks.

Initially didn't work on my Galaxy S10+. I contacted the developer who got back to me within minutes. I passed on some information and within a few hours was sent an updated version which works perfectly. 5 stars for both the app which is incredibly useful and also the dev who exceeds all expectations. The store needs more apps and devs like this. Thank you :-)

[UPDATE] App Factory now works perfectly and I am not running any beta releases. Joao seems to be sorting out the user experience by stages - Tasker should be a joy to use before long. [Original] Why can't I export an app unless running a beta version of Tasker? I signed up to the beta program, then all my Tasker plugins started asking for beta versions, permissions that didn't make sense and even repeat payments. I have no idea what's going on. Nothing makes me cry, but this is coming close!

Good but could be the best. Creates a standalone app of the profiles of the amazing Tasker app but during creation no option to add external files to it. If any profile plays a custom sound file, one has to copy separately to the users device at the specified location.

Every new app you create consists of Tasker core with very limited preferences. The annoying part is that it's running in the background as service without ability to turn it off and remove persistent notification.

Fantastic app! Unfortunately, the latest Android update had destroyed write to file functionality. I had some discussions with the developer and functionality was restored. Would give 7⭐ if I could.

Works ok. But i miss a feature for including external files. Creating those manually bloats the app with duplicate data. Would also be nice if there was an option for creating Android TV apps.
