New UI is bad. It says the "albums" are alphabetized, but they're not, so I can't find anything as quickly as I used to. Just go back to the folder layout. Rolled back to 1.6.34 (Google it) and everything was lovely once again, kept my premiun, too. Heck, I'm now getting a message that says the current version isn't compatible anymore and I can't update. Uhhh, good riddance?

I liked the app for a while, worked as intended. Just downloaded the latest update as I hadn't updated in a long time, and found that you can no longer set your own custom soundfont unless you pay for the premium. You used to be able to set your own soundfont before, but since I can't without paying, and I'm unable to pay, I no longer have a use for it, so I uninstalled. Edit: just saw that the developer said "hehe" to someone else who is similarly frustrated. What a scumbag.

EDIT: With the folder-based paths now back, I can now say I'm content. It's relatively user-friendly and easy on the eyes. However, it still struggles with MIDI events, and the reverb and chorus are still bugged. Large soundfonts no longer crash the app, it seems, but it takes longer to load a MIDI file and play it back. Switching soundfont files as well as switching internal or external will also bug out files; you'll need to play a few different files until the sound fully comes in.

It is buggy in that the music files in the folder that you choose by yourself would not play. You can play them only if you search it manually by typing the file name, rinse and repeat. And the fact that the OPL soundbank options and the ability to use sound font is paywalled in this update does not help, considering that they are free before.

Excellent app, only thing I lack is a way to easily create playlists, otherwise, AWESOME!! Update: Sometimes hangs completely when opening the app nowadays and the previously free synthesizer settings have now been locked behind a paywall. Unfortunate.

EDIT: What happened to this application? It no longer shows any folders for browsing and I'm unable to open any music. Original: Wonderful MIDI player. I use it with some old Nokia sound fonts and ringtones to have the authentic experience.

Watched two ads (for the ad-reward premium), but only got one day! The first attempt didn't do anything. And the app doesn't list all the midis you have, you have to search specifically. Otherwise, excellent app 🔥

Update after like 5 years seems half-baked in the design department and puts previously free features behind a paywall. I paid the price and it's worse than when it was free. Why does the SF2 selection not filter out MID? There's no way to queue songs either. When you change a soundfont, it doesn't reset the song anymore.
