Retrieve text from websites or other apps
If you find interesting articles or texts in others apps or on a website in your browser, it can be very convenient to save the information in one central app, so you can read or have the text read aloud at a later time.
If you want to save an article, you can go to the share function of the browser or the other app and share to Note Player. You can then choose to share the link or the text of the website. The text will be retrieved from the shared link.
Useful for people who are speech-impaired
The app can also be a useful AAC tool for people who are speech-impaired for communicating longer texts with more control over the spoken text with the play-buttons. For example if you want to give a public speaking.
Speech language and voice
The voice is not part of the app, but the app uses the voice that’s installed on your device. For example the voices from 'Speech Services by Google'. You can change the voice in the settings of your app.
Upgrade to full version
With the lite version of this app you can create a limited number of notes. In the settings of the app, you can upgrade to create an unlimited number of notes.

Excellent app, simply add text, save, select what you want to hear and press play. Even works when your screen is off (great to save batteries or to listen when you can't look at the screen) or in the background when you have other apps open. Very nice, exactly what i needed Would also be nice to have: *Select voice - voice is pleasant, just might be nice to choose a different one sometimes *Add images - something else to look at while it's reading, for visual impact etc

This is a great app for individuals with visual impairment or who have difficulty typing.. You can dictate shopping lists, phone numbers, to-do lists, and memos and then play them and listen to them with headphones if the information is private. I have been using this app for several years now and recommend it to others. I love it

Completely changed my life. Well worth paying for pro version. The only speak app that allows you to to edit text directly within the context of written text rather than having to type into an annoying small pop up box and forcef to scroll scroll through the whole contents again. I downloaded over a dozen apps before I found this one. Nothing compared. The developer is amazing and so helpful via email. I have installed i iPhone paid version on daughters phone who's non verbal. Its empowering 5'

Exactly what I asked for. I need to something to read my long long text or something I don't have the patience to read and I found it. Now is there any way I can change the voice to make a sound like something or someone else that's something I wish I could find is an AI voice program that can take someone else's voice and accent and use that as my read out

This is a nice app but this app is using Google text to speech voices only But we are in need of inclusion of immersive reader which has come into existence recently and very much useful to the blind persons. It has several good and attractive voices. You can see in Microsoft edge. We will be thankful if u do so.

This app is great. The free version isn't predatory, and the paid version is all that one could hope for. Those things combined is what makes me want to purchase it. Well done for keeping your app ethical, I really appreciate it.

This is Note Player app is great and best used for proofreading your notes or to you for a great letter you brainstormed on and you want to check out how it sounds read out loud to you from a different perspective instead of having someone else to do it just to ask "well how does it sound? and what do you think?" No english class lecture and fix your punctuation marks and grammar by yo- self when you catch on to run-on sentences or even mispelled words or any other typos like a repeated word.😉

Recent update made my phone freeze and I can't seem to get it to read notes I've taken for class. It might just be a user error, it's frustrating because the app will delete notes.
