Introducing Permission Slip Plus, a premium service that combines the power of automation with a team of human advocates to turbocharge your right to privacy.

Here’s what’s included in addition to powerful free features in the new Permission Slip Plus:

A Data Concierge Team Working for You: With Permission Slip Plus, you get access to a team of data experts working behind the scenes to protect your personal information. Here’s what they will do for you:

Complete Form-Fill Requests: Many companies require you to manually fill out time consuming forms to manage your data. Your PS+ Data Concierge team will take care of these on your behalf.

Advocate for Your Privacy Rights: Our Data Concierge team helps you take action. When companies aren’t responsive and your data rights aren’t being respected, a concierge will communicate directly with companies for you to help enforce your rights.

Data Broker Requests: Flip the switch on Plus, and send instant opt-out requests to 100+ data brokers, aka the companies that siphon your data and sell it without your knowledge or consent. We’ll also make sure you stay protected by consistently sending requests to newly available data brokers.

Bulk Requests: Effortlessly send bulk opt-out and data deletion requests to hundreds of companies you engage with online and offline. From Ticketmaster to Tesla, we’ve made it easy for you to take back your data en masse with just a few taps.

App is impossible to even add my name and phone. Customer service is totally useless. Instead of helping solve what should be a minor problem I keep getting emails (4 so far) from Tara (a bot or very limited human) to confirm the problem. If she would read any of my emails she'd know what the problem is. But all she does is reply asking me to confirm what the problem is instead of fixing the issue. Very close to uninstalling. An extremely frustrating experience.

Has only about thirty companies total at this time. Misses some of the big data collectors like Apple, Microsoft, and many major retail sites. For some companies the ONLY option is to toally delete your account and never use the service again to ensure that your tracked data is gone which won't be an option for many of us on Amazon, Google, and others. Have to provide full legal name, home address, AND phone number (very trackable data) in order to ask not to be tracked. Ironic. Useless.

Permission Slip does not work! Majority of the requests are not available/provided by Permission Slip or it's affiliated companies at this time. It's July 1, 2024. I believe this app is misleading and should be used if at all with caution. There's a few concerning aspects such as the terms and agreements within this app/service. The first two requests I attempted after downloading and installing the app on my android from Google Play did not work and Permission Slip did not offer a solution.

Never received the 6 digit code that was supposedly sent to my mobile number in order to complete set up. "Request another code" also does not work. I've been a supporter and subscriber of Consumer Reports for years, but this app is a big fail. Disappointed that they would release and tout an app that is not functional. C'mon CR you can do better than this! Hopefully they will work out the bugs, but will be deleting the app for now.

Saves a ton of time vs trying to do all this yourself. For a v1 it's pretty solid. Would love to see it: * Track my privacy requests so I know what's been sent, outstanding, and done. Even sleeping for me to do this mostly manually would be great. * Scan my phone for the apps I have, to filter & determine which companies to present to me for opt-out.

The idea of this app is great and something that is really needed in today's world. I went through the current (and expanding) list of services you can unsubscribe from and got quite a few I used. After a couple weeks now I am getting notifications that I should have gotten follow up communications from some of these companies, but I didn't. So I start wondering if this works at all.

read the privacy policy of this app. funny they don't include a tracking opt-out for their own service, beacuse they track, sell, share, and use your data for marketing just as much as any other company. that said, giving this company my info at least allows me to more quickly and easily send data deletion to dozens of other companys. once you use this app, delete it, and email them requesting to delete the data they've gathered on you in the process.

Initial experience is two star or less. I may update after further use. I feel betrayed right at the start. I submit all my personal date to the Permission Slip app which I expected, but I also expected a fair return on this risk. The app is advertised to easily let you request that a company stop selling/sharing your data. Well, on at least 90 percent of the companies I tried to request, the app says they don't have that company set up yet but I can manually request myself!!! What the heck?!
