Fcitx5 for Android still works in 2024 the only real problem is some of the emojis still don't appear right in some Android devices. It has all of the features and settings that you want in a keyboard app if you could just fix the app emojis to work and appear right in older and newer Android devices Instead of half working I will give this app a five star review. It hasn't been updated since August 23, 2023.

Fcitx5 for Android is a great keyboard app it has all the features and functionality of Gboard and most popular Android keyboard apps. The only thing is missing is improved emoj support and improved autocorrect. Sometimes the emojis don't appear in some Android devices properly.

I've been looking for a good Chinese keyboard for so many years and now I think I finally found it. It's fast and feature rich. It's also mature app sincd it's been on desktops for many years. It's also open source for less privacy cencerns. For me the version on fdroid seems to run better.

Great keyboard, would be nice if cangjie had traditional chinese support though.

When will traditional characters be available for cangjie and pinyin?
