Battle necromancers, ogres, and the demon itself!

"Captive of Fortune" is an interactive novel by Samuel Harrison Young, where your choices control the story. It's Volume Two of "Demons Among Men," the sequel to "Trial of the Demon Hunter." The game is text-based with occasional vivid illustrations and a unique sound track – and driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Continuing your journey to banish the mysterious and elusive demon, you travel to the city of Lorden, where romance and new dangers await. With new allies but even more enemies presenting themselves, the vendetta against you continues, the trials set before you leading you along a dangerous path to face your greatest challenge yet.

If you didn't make the right choices in the first their is no way to win. Very lateral gameplay choices are pure social relations. Buying and equipping mean nothing. Its just a silly runaround. The ending blows I get its the build up to three, but you still go from bad to the bone to piss panted coward. Even if you hurt and perfectly banish the demon you still just cry and run away. Weak sauce ending.

Sequel to the first Captive of Fortune follows the hero to the city you passed by on the way to fight the vampire in the first. Somewhat difficult game to win.You can make choices that create bad stats that cause you take damage which in the long run will make you die and then you gotta start over. This game can be frustrating. The characters you fight are distinct and interesting but if your stats arent right you can get stuck. The city and characters are well developed. The stats not so much.

There seems to be an issue with the game. Once I get to the bandits, at the very beginning of the game, every choice I make results in an error message and I can't continue.

Its a good story its just at the end when fighting the demon no matter what I choose I die, don't know if I'm messing up or its a bug but that why I gave it two stars

I purchased this when I downloaded it, but the purchase from Google play doesn't register in the app. I tried to restore the purchase in the app, and sent an email to customer service, but have gotten no response.

It is very interesting but no matter what choices I make I always die at the end with the demon, I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a glitch. The story is very good though.
