Yivi is an app that lets you easily and securely log in, share data and prove who you are. Without sharing too much about yourself. With Yivi, you take control of your data. You always see what an organisation wants to know about you and you decide whether to share that data. Your data is only stored on your mobile, safely behind a PIN code. No one is watching, not even Yivi. That's how safe it is.Yivi is being developed by SIDN, the Dutch registry for the .nl internet zone, and is based on work by the Privacy By Design Foundation. Previously known as“IRMA” the Yivi ID wallet is fully open-source.

I love the idea of this app and the problem it solves using self sovereign identity. I seem to have a problem importing attributes though. If the app is open (in the background) when importing any source, it just shows a white screen (no text or buttons) when it switches to Irma. Killing the application before the import solves the problem, once.

Positive about the app's progress. I see the bad and old reviews, but they do not reflect the current situation. I'm quite positive about this app and hope other developers will follow the privacy by design principles. Organizations don't need to know your birthday or other personal information: a simple verified yes or no on a specific question should be sufficient. For example, is this person over 18 years old? Keep it up devs!

Both the philosophy behind the app and the implemtation are good, let hope its usage spreads. The reason this is not a 5 star review is that the app can be opened without the PIN and reveal the attributes to who ever is holding the phone. PIN issue has been fixed and so review has been updated to 5 star.

I downloaded this app as recommended to connect with Digid into the gemeente Nijmegen digital login. The app will not continue to scan the provided QR code. Even screenshot , take picture with other device, and then try to scan again with IRMA app, it will not scan and recognize QR code. So no way I can login and connect . Every time error. cannot connect with server, although I have a working internet connection. And no option to add attribute phone number only limited countries in drop down.

Nice app, but security is only with PIN code. Vingerprint MUST be added to gain more ☆. Jammer dat jullie zo over biometrie denken. Overheid? 16 positie pincode gebruiken voor elke toegang tot de app om veilig te zijn???? Deze app staat op een beveiligde telefoon. App beveiliging is stap 2. Ga de app verwijderen en een betere zoeken. EDIT: Nee, beter. Is open source. Haal de broncode wel op en pas deze aan zodat vingerprint wel gebruikt kan worden. :-)
