Managing your health just got easier with the Kaiser Permanente Health Ally app, designed for patients enrolled in a diabetes or hypertension Remote Monitoring program. Once enrolled by a KP clinician, use this mobile app to seamlessly share device data with your care team.

If you aren’t enrolled and think you may qualify to participate, reach out to your care team for information.

The app works OK for a while. You have to save a new reading twice every time. Now, suddenly, it won't display the trend graph or trend listing anymore. The last value it will display is up to 9/25/24. Nothing else afterward. I don't know if it's still syncing the reading or not.

Suddenly, the app won't start. No me updates for this app. Can't report my blood pressure readings. But there's more...this app (when working) will only upload one measurement at a time, not a group. This means that I can't enter any notes for the readings because at that point, the measurement has "gone stale" and doesn't upload. Took me a week to figure this out. Seems to me (as a former medical software engineer) it should be able to determine which readings are new and upload ALL of them.

First review was one star: Extra slow. Crashes constantly. Doesn't reliably connect to meter. Worst piece of digital garbage I have ever used. Stress of using it is itself raising my glucose levels. Update 7/20/24: Finally someone fixed most of the bugs. Update 8/9/24 stopped synchronizing. Have to unistall install for every reading. Do not recommend it.

For the first 3 weeks of using the app, it would sync (albeit, it took a while). In the last week or two, it fails at syncing most of the time. I'll have to restart the app, restart the Verio, or restart my phone to get it to sync. Horribly inefficient and frustrating. In addition, after syncing results, the app refreshes itself multiple times while you're trying to enter notes. Sometimes it refreshes 7+ times before it stops spazzing out, so you just have to stand there and wait.b

Was working fine until I got a notice today saying the app needed to be updated. It absolutely refused to update. I tried uninstalling it and then re-downloading it and I turn my phone on and off before re-downloading it. The problem remains the app keeps saying it needs to be updated but instead of updating I just got a message to open it. This is on a Samsung S23 Ultra. The same thing happens on my Samsung tablet so it's a bug in the app. Not good!

Broken! There's always something wrong with this thing, from syncing to navigating, etc.. now it will not allow me to use it anymore because there's a consistent pop up at login telling me to update and brings me to the app store, which does not even update the app. I've even reinstalled with the issue cycling over and over every time i return to the app.

Straight Downhill I originally installed this app to monitor blood pressure...worked great. Then I needed to include glucose readings so I added the program and monitor. The glucose readings were awesome but the BP not so much. Constant "unable to sync, please try again". I unpaired and paired both devices...now neither one consistently records anything. It won't sync no matter how many "try again" attempts I make. It doesn't seem to like when more than one programs needs the platform

Completely useless. Works and then doesn't. Have been getting a "Your session has exspired" "try again later" message for over a month. Can't fix the thing or update it. Can't get the needed information to my Dr. And no way to contact anyone frim the app to fix it. Wish I could add screen shots to this review. This is a bad app that does not work.
