The ITC (International Thyroid Congress) is a collaborative meeting held every fifth year by the four world thyroid associations: ATA, Asia-Oceania Thyroid Association (AOTA), European Thyroid Association (ETA), and Latin American Thyroid Society (LATS). Each society hosts the ITC on a rotating basis. In the year of the ITC, each Society forgoes individual annual meetings and holds one, joint scientific annual meeting at the ITC (including call for abstracts and poster sessions). The Program Organizing Committee of the ITC which is chaired by the host society is comprised of 3-4 representatives from each society. The representatives are both basic and clinical thyroidologists who meet regularly for 2+ years prior to the ITC meeting to develop the content for the meeting. The 15th ITC (thyroid2015) is chaired by ATA Member Dr. Rebecca Bahn. International access, beautiful autumn weather and family activities make Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), Florida a great meeting destination for the 15th International Thyroid Congress (ITC) from October 18-23, 2015. Hosted by the American Thyroid Association (ATA), the ITC will present and discuss the latest research and developments in thyroidology.
