good tool but has it's flaws, currently doesn't scan or find the locked room cards, doesn't allow for quickly setting the purchase date, cards which wizards has deemed racist and removed don't display any value despite the fact that the cards still have value (legends edition imprison), doesn't show value of decks, doesn't allow deck lists to be imported into inventory. with the issues listed I would definitely suggest using the base app, but the premium version just isn't worth it.

Only good for scanning individual cards and even that is hit or miss, scanning full decks is clunking as hell, can't handle scanning full art foil basic lands, and although you can make a deck on here with the scanner these idiots don't give you a way to upload the list anywhere. App is utterly useless for anything other than a quick price check don't waste your time.

I’ve been using the DragonShield app for years as I built my 30K card collection, and it’s easily the best one out there. The app offers powerful organization features that make navigating and managing large collections a breeze. I’ve found the way cards are displayed to be especially intuitive. The app keeps improving, and special thanks to Joao and the devs for fixing the folder name issue—they really care about their users. Highly recommended!

I scanned a card and it gave me a price that was higher then expected and of course I was really happy. In my happiness I forgot to save the card to a file. When I realized a few hours later I scanned the card again. Suddenly that same card was only worth .39 cents. I dropped over $300. 00 in two hours. I went ahead and rescanned it again. Third scan showed .99 cents. I'm thinking that the reviews that live it are paid for. You can have the truth for free.

Uninstalled the app after seeing the subscription based pat module of premium features. A company as successful as Dragon Shield should use this app as an opportunity to be the best MTG app on the market taking the opportunity to market their products. Rather than trying to squeeze out a few extra dollars on a sub par app.

The good: I tried a couple apps and this one has the best scanner by far. It picks up the cards so easily. It also has a really smart system for adding cards to your folders so you don't have to pick each time. Streamlined process: In a folder, hit add, scan a card, check the set, quantity, and save, the scanner comes back up after ready for the next card. The meh: Be careful about sets!!! Ads are annoying but infrequent enough, and it's only a 5secs image for premium. Weird about some tokens.

I love this app as a tracker for my collection, my problem is with the scanner in this app, and the UI around it. After scanning about 4000 cards (followed in app tips) I noticed over half the cards scanned came back as stamped/promo/surge printing despite being base version. On a scan page it shows the art of the card at the top of the screen, almost completely covering the save button, which is too easy to tap when trying to save. App needs some tweaks and it would be much better.

Scan function works well enough, but it seems to lack some basic functionality like selecting multiple cards at once to add to decks from inventory, you have to do them one at a time. I don't see a way of combining folders if you decide to consolidate. If you add cards to decks before your inventory, it doesn't add them to inventory as well. It never picks the correct card set from the icon. Decent for cataloging your cards, but don't expect it to be an all in one tool for managing your cards.
