The RouteGenie Driver app is built to be used only with the RouteGenie Software which helps NEMT companies reduce over head, boost overall efficiency and prevent noshows. The RouteGenie Driver is an easy to use app that guides your non-emergency medical transportation driver throughout their day. With the Driver App you can make driver payroll easier than ever, gather required NEMT trip data, collect payments right in the vehicle, and more!We also use background location. Background location is collected only if the driver has an active shift and working. It is used to show vehicles on the map / to provide you with accurate dispatching. Access to the app location is secured and restricted, access is granted only to authorized employees who use our management system. The data is not stored and we never use your information for advertising purposes.

This app has damn near become the bane of my work existence... I've seriously considered getting another job, just so I no longer have to deal with this app! Sad thing is, it wasn't always like this. Once upon a time, I didn't have to contact my dispatch several times a shift to load and/or complete the trips that Route Genie can't be bothered to do. The newest wrinkle when signing in is, 90% of the time, it no longer asks for mileage. It won't ask for that until 10 miles or more into the trip!

Absolute garbage. Takes over your device with a "draw over other apps" permission and absolutely will not allow you to deny that permission by refusing to function without it. I'm trying to write a chart, and it will take over and switch away from the far more important charting app I need and will keep switching away from it even if you switch back. I KNOW where I am, I KNOW what TIME it is, I have EYES. I do not need this dumpster fire of an app screaming "LOOK AT ME" like an angry toddler.

Slow, laggy, ui constantly overlapps. Customer support takes forever to respond to requests.

I have to use this app for work. It's not the easiest to work with anymore. Unfortunately it takes over all other apps on my phone and freezes up. The GPS doesn't even work anymore unless I use my phones default gps. I'm constantly forced to either refresh or close it out and start it up again. Could use some improvements

Horrible and annoying. It rings uncontrollably when you are near your drop or pick up locations. This is pointless because I can clearly see where I'm at. It logs me out constantly. Forces me out of my screen if I'm using other apps. You could force stop this setting on your phone settings but the route genie app still forces you out of your screen and a message appears "please allow route genie app to force close others apps/screens". The GPS on the app is awful not accurate. I can go on.

Would not recommend this app to anyone as that, from my experience, it is not ready for primetime just yet. Interface is clunky, app is buggy, and the maddening chimes it uses to signal destination arrival cannot be turned off -even though you may not actually be at you destination.

This latest update doesn't allow the navigation to appear inside the map. It stays stuck like I'm appearing offline, but google maps works on the client's address. This only started to happen after the latest update on the 26th. I use a Samsung s20.

It's ok, but... What would be wonderful is if it could set up multiple stops in the GPS or at least, let you copy addresses for pasting into GPS. Making that little 'GPS SEARCHING' pop up disappear would be great also.
