Story:
The world of Ambrose is no stranger to calamity. After the rule of a tyrannical dragon, the machinations of a mad wizard, and a great flood that submerged entire continents, the citizens of Ambrose are long overdue for peace.
A decade has passed since the great flood. Dylan and his father Uno are sent on a mission to investigate Zamaste, a kingdom that was banished to the depths of the ocean centuries ago. During their trip across the sea, a mysterious woman falls from the sky and crash-lands on Dylan's ship.
With no memories or knowledge of her purpose whatsoever, the young woman is just as confused as Dylan is. Dylan gives the angel a name, Astraea, and agrees to help her recover her memories.
After Dylan and Astraea are sent to rescue Primrose, the princess of Zamaste, the queen has an unusual request. Dylan must bring his new companions, Primrose and her retainer Goliath, to see the world while also working to discover Astraea's true identity.
Knight Eternal is a stand-alone game and part of the Knights of Ambrose Saga, which includes Knight Bewitched, The Black Dungeon, and Knight of Heaven: Finding Light. A miniguide is available on the game's webpage at http://jkgames.net.

Very unsatisfying ending. Good game with nice features. Every aspect made to be pleasant and engaging. Good walk speed. Farming for relevant loot. Just enough character customization to be palatable to most. Just a nice little package. Perfect button location and also uses faint on screen keys rather than having to click around and click and drag and all the other horrible choices put into rpg remasters and ports these days. Solidly recommend if this is even something you might possibly like.

Amazing! Brings my childhood right back and I loved every minute of my exploration and gameplay. A straight playthrough should give you about 10hours of amazing gaming. I really enjoyed the open nature of the character building.Yes you have 2 endgame skills and some item restrictions, but other then that it's all you. If I should mention any improvements it would be higher difficulties, or a replayable endgame area. Also physical attack seems to scale alot better then magic late game. Loved it!

It's all good but could use a little feature where we can customize one or more characters' appearance. Also needs something like an establishment where characters could switch classes and it'll change their skill tree options based on selected class and also reset their allocated skill tree points or something like that. The role-playing feature is kinda weak on this one but battle mechanics and story is superb.

This is a good old fashioned JRPG. There are several games in the series, so if one wants to experience the full story, they will have to play the rest of the games. If I had any complaint, it is that the game ends very abruptly and I felt a bit unsatisfied when it was over. It felt as if it was missing one more chapter, or a post game epilogue. But the level up system was a nice touch to keep things interesting. There are also some optional quests and some optional bosses to fight. Good game.

I tried RPG Bewitched first, but it seemed so forced to follow the story line without much options for the user to try alternate path. I refunded that on-sale purchase and this one went on sale next which had 2-3 times more alternative game play from the start. So far happy but not a big Final Fantasy fan to start with. Hoping developer doesn't abandon it.

Lovely game fun and even OG in the beginning in fights (hard). Love the hidden areas, classic godsend abound of you look. Pacing is excellent not once did I feel the urge to grind more that 4 or 5 fights before pushing on. Small amount of adult humor if you look and a protagonist who has friends and family across the game. Sadly beaten just under 12 hours and never needed to look up where anything was (a good look and you find it) OG RPG set grab this gem or miss your nostalgia fix.

Definitely a great FF throwback... loved the skill tree & game play. Story was actually entertaining. My only negatives are lack of game pad compatibility and the game was shorter than I expected. But it was great while it lasted. And I'll replay on hard mode. If you liked old school RPGs then its worth the shekels. Thumbs up 👍

This game sat in my library for a while, but I'm so glad I got back to it. It really captured the qualities of old school RPGs that make them special. The skill trees are the technical detail that drew my attention, but all the little details in the world and the story are just right.
