Sadly doesn't work on the most recent android phones. Would like to know when it will be updated so that it does work. It would be great if it did as there are no other ABC notation editors out there for android phones. I have an Xperia XZ2.

Love this useful abc app. Hope it will get updates in the future.

The app needs a setting that allows the user to designate his preferred location for the default folder (it will not place or access a folder on the sd card). Better yet, design the app to search all folders for abc files. Otherwise, a very useful app for musicians.

I am a tin whistle and mandolin player with some basic ABC skills. I am used to copying ABC data from the sites; The Session and Abcnotation. On an Android tablet with USB k/b attached, this is all a lot easier using Zap's ABC. If you copy and paste from such a site, do not use the built in Browser or Dolphin, as the line breaks fail to copy correctly. Use Opera or Firefox.

While I find this to be an exceptional app, I don't understand why the midi and the pdf converter require an internet connection when those things can easily be part of the app and made to be used offline. I'd be more than willing for the app to be bigger if it meant I could really make music anywhere, and not just at home or wherever I have 3G

I'm having the same issue as Pepijn below: used abc for years, getting back into it, seem to be doing everything right but will not display any more than title and composer, not play any sounds on either S5 phone or Galaxy Tab S.

So far I like it! PDF preview and MIDI playback are working nicely for me. I'd love to see a bit more in the preformatted notation options (grace notes etc).

I want to get back into abc after having used it for ages. However, after making a very simple code, the eye symbol produces an empty sheet and the music player does not produce sound and indicates that it finished playing the moment it appears. This is my code: X:1 T:Ringtone M:4/4 L: 1/4 K: C |e c g z| Does anyone know what's wrong?
